Do a 3 or 4 valve swap on the heads. Much better power, bolts right on.
Hey there so good video question does the window regulator on the driver side under the door work all four windows in the crown Vic I have a 1998 or does both sides have their own window regulator
Every door has its own window regulator front and back, sorry for the late response.
Gotta be the only mustang that doesn't have a healthy aftermarket of hp increasing intakes.
Explain WHY it loses those 10hp... Ford outsourced the original design and can no longer produce it. Dorman was paid by Ford to rework their design. Especially what we're getting is a Dorman+. Your best bet is still the junkyard.
They have to compensate on the runners or modify the plane enough to make it work for all engines at all elevations in all climates. Losing 10hp is not worth crying about personally
Leave it to ford performance to release a part that robs hp

Just did one for a leak put the new one on and found it was a bad mold and had a hole in was a little mad it had be done again

@@skinlab4239 I've used there parts in lots of applications and haven't had any issues till this recent one and I like that they improve some parts

The two 5ft timing chains and plastic tensioners were the weak point of all modular Ford V8’s.
How often do they need to be replaced? My 03 town car has 240,000 miles and I never replaced anything other than the intake I JB welded a crack and it's been holding up for a year now.
@@eriktorres8975 modular fords are a hit or miss. I’ve seen some fail at 60k, while some hit 300k without needing replaced, with the later being the minority. The rear plug also has issues blowing out, due to weak/insufficient threads holding them in. Shops specialized in drilling and tapping those things to install a new plug. Def do not over torque when installing the plugs.
@@freebehindbars8654 yeah the heater hose outlet I also JB welded a brass fitting into the plastic part of the intake. Would you recommend me servicing the tensioners? I really want to get 400k out of the engine before I decide to rebuild her.
Spark plug threads, or lack thereof, were the weak point.

This happened to me my 1st day of work. About 20 years ago one of the guys did this to me. And I flipped out because I had just got the truck. 20000 dollars, I was so pissed. Cause it already had some damn problems. But I got those jerks back.

@@jeremywentworth1833 it looks like it has a small accident, the passenger fender is pushed in a bit and the original bull bar was bent straight up. Plus it had 107k miles and 8k idle hours, so it probably wasn’t worth keeping it.

Will it allow me to hit rev limiter in 1st and 2nd or 3rd? Ive got a dual caliper 2008 MGM drift build and just ordered a canshift in hopes it would make drifting a tab bit easier. Auto sucks because sometimes I want to be able to stay in 1st or 2nd with the rpms high but it upshifts and bogs down when I dont want it to.
Do you have a Marty tune? If you have a Marty tune, you effectively won’t have a rev limiter while using the canshift, I’ve done 7k RPM in 1st gear lol. I’ve never gotten to use the canshift system in a non Marty tune car, although I have a set for project Oreo that I’ll be putting on soon.
Will the canshift allow you to bang revlimiter in 1st and 2nd gear? I ive got a drift build MGM and I just ordered a canshift v2 in hopes it would let me bang against rev limiter for my specific purpose
I did 4500 % 450 for my scatpack and got 10.

Idk, I feel like if ya swapped a cam into it, ya would get way more horsepower, but your fuel economy would drop horrendously. Either way, the build is clean for a daily and ya seemed to build it in a cost affective way

2001 was the actual first year, called the Sport and Handling Package and they ran until mid 2008. Cool video. I have your twin in black. Definitely save up for a Marty tune and a P71 airbox. They're great modifications.
Correct. The Marauder came out in 2003 if I'm correct. I have a 1999 but just switched my rims to the 2003 LX Sport Rims 17-inch.

hell yeah, came from instagram. marty tune is a little out of my budget for now but i rather do "bolt on" mods before the tune so marty could make it more efficient. im thinking that was your issue tho, the tune wasnt optimized for the modifications u did, u got the base tune and then added mods after. rear cat delete most likely contributed to most of it tho, as the stock exhaust really has no restriction for the power ur making. u really dont have to do any exhaust work until 350-400hp

All you need to do is pull the trim and put the light in. You can get a light out of a junkyard or online.
Main causes for a cylinder 7 misfire on an 09 P71?
Bad spark plug, bad ignition coil, clogged/bad injector, or bad electric connection to any of the aforementioned parts. Easy first thing to do would be to run a high concentration of fuel system cleaner in your gas tank to help open up a clogged injector if you have one. It’s the easiest thing to do that doesn’t involve taking anything apart.
How long it takes to get shipped
I pre-ordered mine when V2 first came out, and they had a delay because of supplier issues, it took 1 months to receive it. I looked into it, they use USPS standard ground, so you can see it within 3-5 days.
