Love this part of the video. Real ballsy corner with bad consequences if you get it wrong! Not much run off and high speed, 1000+ HP cars twitching on the exit 👌
@@BarryPrice1959 To relate close to home, i worked briefly for Bernie's dump at biggin hill, even in the early 00's the guys from tv stations used digi Beta tapes, beta is far superior to VHS as I am sure you know.
@@BarryPrice1959 I was going to ask what you were filming with as the sound quality is great, hardly any distortion what were you using? Was is a Sony F1? We used to use them they were really good. Also how have you transferred over to Digital? I have a lot of betamax camcorder motor racing tapes from the 80's that I would love to convert over to Digital, I still have a working sony player with RF or scart out. thanks
@@rallycrosscraig I was using a Sony Trinitron Camera with a Betamax portable recording unit......it was one of the best set ups for video in the early 80's.To transfer from betamax to Digital I purchased Honstech 7.0 Delux which supplied the hardware to transfer......But I do not use the software provided by Honstech I use Powerdirector 13 which allows to transfer at higher resolutions.........Regards Barry
Barry I was there as a 17 year old at the testing day ! Awesome !
Damn thanks for this!!
Great video!!!!
1980s: Real cars, driven by real men on a real circuit! I could watch them turn into the right hander after Pilgrems dtop all day....

WOW
Wonderful stuff, 80s F1 without Murray or circuit commentators talking over it. So many helmets I remember from my youth too. Thanks for this Barry.
Thanks for sharing, hope to see more f1 content :)
Ferrari 🏎🏎 🇮🇹🚩🏁 ❤️
Great to see and hear thanks
Thank you!
This is great stuff Barry. Wattie testing the Tag turbo- rare footage indeed. Lovely to hear those DFV’s singing too 💪🏼
Absolutely brilliant. Nice one. Variety certainly is the spice of life.
More Barry, dont care if its unedited
Yes I have some more on its way........I have been able to improve the quality from Betamax to digital..........Regards Barry
