  • "Murder Is Easy" by Agatha Christie is a classic mystery novel first published in 1939. It showcases Christie's mastery of creating suspenseful, engaging plots filled with twists and well-drawn characters. Here’s a closer look:
    Plot Summary
The story begins when Luke Fitzwilliam, a retired policeman, meets a peculiar elderly woman, Lavinia Pinkerton, during a train ride. She confides in him that she is traveling to London to report a series of murders in her quiet English village. She claims she knows the identity of the killer. However, before she can share the full story, Miss Pinkerton dies in what seems like a tragic accident.
Luke becomes suspicious and decides to investigate. He travels to the village of Wychwood-under-Ashe, where he discovers a string of deaths that appeared accidental but could be connected. As he delves deeper, Luke realizes that uncovering the truth might make him the next target.

Hugh Fraser has a wonderful clear, calm delivery. He can also speak old lady, boisterous retired military man, even terrier dog.

All of the victims have a connection to the editor. The kid, the maid worked for him, and (she might have told her boyfriend. The doctor and possibly the dog owners wife bucked his project. He bought the house (cheap) he turned into a library. The lady on the train was going to the police. All the dead were tied to him.
