Death on the Nile is a classic but doesn't really work well on radio . Nothing to do with the excellent cast or production. The intricate plot is difficult to grapple with using only dialogue especially in the early scenes ? John Moffat splendid as ever !
This would be even more enjoyable if the producers hired fewer actresses with helium-filled Micky-Mouse voices speaking too fast. Apart from that, very enjoyable.
Something is lost in a radio adaptation. Characters not as well-developed and much of the flavor is gone. Jackie sounds like a hyper twelve-year-old. The movie is great!
Spare us the faux outrage ! It was a criticism of the production NOT the channel .And entirely justified . As for the childish parting comment about doing " better " it hardly deserves a response .
I have to say that this version of Col Race is a bit of an abomination. Whoever cast the role had clearly never read any of the books that he was in. 😅
