I love #Vidin !
I have mixed feelings about this video. On one hand this looks like a beautiful part of Bulgaria and I can’t wait to visit. On the other hand I want it to remain off the tourist radar so that it doesn’t get overwhelmed and loose it’s tranquility.
I see your point, hopefully people that watch and take my advice, are respectful tourist
Since the town was holding 500000 tourists a year, as the video says at 1:05, you can visit and enjoy it.
Beautiful town. I cross border in this place every year many times but not visit yet. Thanks for video I must stop here for the rest.
Definitely worth an afternoon stroll around
I haven't been to my beautiful home town Vidin for more than 20 years... this summer I aim to visit as a tourist. Cool video, thanks!
I hope you get the chance to make it
I absolutely loved vidin, I enjoyed it much more than Sofia and byala.
The people where so friendly and many spoke English
It really is a great city, I’d been there many years ago…on the cruise ships and not had a lot of time to enjoy, but this time through different eyes had the time and loved it also
We speak English because this is the secondary language in one bulgarian school after the main (bulgarian) language but its just your own choice did you want to study good or you don't care i made my choice and i was good at the English class 😎
@@Valko996 I'm English so it was just a holiday.
I did think about buying a property there but my situation has changed.
@@wearemysticking wish you to be alive and healthy✌️❤️
@@Valko996 you too 😀
Vidin is the city of my childhood. Wherever I go, I always find time to return to my Vidin, even if only for a little while. There are the familiar streets, the houses worn down by the years and the shadows of the people I love, but who are no longer among us.
That’s a quite serious and touching comment
We loved our visit to Vidin several years ago. Roaming the castle was a lot of fun, and it was wonderful to walk along the river and in the nearby park. One of the best things to add do your trip to Vidin, is to go to Belogradchik, which is about an hour by car away.
We did actually did this on the same trip. Though the full video for that is being saved for the members only crowd
Looks beautiful, but not the easiest of places to get to.
This is true, that’s why you need to make a trip of it and go to all the wonderful places around
Thank you for this informative and beautiful video!!! Definitely on my list now!
Glad you enjoyed it. And hope you get the chance to enjoy it live
Vidin is definitely on my visit list of Bulgarian cities... even more now! 😉 ta!
Glad to hear that I convinced you.

Thank you for this video!I grew up in Vidin :)
My pleasure glad that you enjoyed it
Really hurts me to see my country and nation dissapearing
This will change, I’m sure.
【promosm】 😜
Ppl afraid of "mafia". Bulgaria has very bad reputation for inland tourisam
Maybe a reason, think its not promoted enough also
I had the same thing in my head when I went to Bulgaria. I would ever hesitate again. I am from London, there is a lot more dangerous people in London. I felt incredibly safe in Bulgaria. Amazing place with amazing people. I will be back this spring or summer.
