How do you deal with getting periods while serving? I get really painful periods sometimes and am thinking of joining the military but don’t know what to do when I am in really bad period pain.

Hopefully you catch this. But, it sucks to say that you would have to just suck it up. I am the same when I’m on my cycle. They don’t care. They will MAYBE give you an ibuprofen and call it a day. I was told one time “it’s not that bad, we all get them” by a female !

This is literally my problem. MY CYCLE. When it comes .. it’s like a reminder of how much i fukn hate this part of being a female!!
Most times i end up passing out if I don’t eat & drink tea. Very difficult decision if their views is just to suck it up.

I plan on joining after I graduate college, and I'm wondering how much weight you had to carry during your hikes during bootcamp? I used to be in ROTC and I made the mistake of filling my ruck with 60lbs. when we had our FTX and I'm tellin' you, that was not an enjoyable time for me lol.

Thank you for you honesty. my brother said much of the same thing. He didn't want me to jion the Marine Corp, like he did, He wanted me to join another branch. but no branch is completely immune to this.
Much of this same shit also happens in the real world, when you work, so maybe this is just an good training for the real world.

I served in the Army and now I'm thinking about joining the Marine Reserves. Although I am married and have a 1 year old and 3 year old. Would you reccomend a mother leaving her kids for training? Thank you for the advice by the way I've watched all of your videos 😄👍
I definitely would. I joined the navy when my baby was 9 months and the best and hardest decision I ever made
i have a 2 year old and a 3 year old and ponder the same thing. I want to do reserves but can’t get myself to leave them for 8+ weeks. Any tips on how you got to the decision there?

They asked for and got their equality to enter all branches of the military and get those promotions. So exactly when can we expect them to sign up for Selective Services like their male counterpart are required to do by law. Oh, that was not part of the deal, in the event of war and a draft they need to stay in the kitchen back in the rear.
