amazing idea using the tape in the paper towel to prevent the uv glue leak into the LCD making spots and stains!!!! I really liked the tutorial!! My hint is if you still not confident about the tape sealing the display, then, use instant bonder in the near sides of the display, and then use the tape and paper towel again!! secure procedure!! thanks for the video! On the video the frame where you put the screws was already broken. Did you have to buy a new one or can i use the old one? I'm trying to repair my own phone too. Hope you can help. Thanks.
u can use the old one if u have adhesive tape. but i ll suggest to buy new bezel frame is very cheap. Good luck mate

Are you removing loca uv glue(sticker: gray sticker on lcd screen) ? or just separating from glass?

I want to use UV loca, so can I use a UV light that they use to check money?
yeah that one is good, but i would suggest using a much brighter UV light

I have some qestions:
-Why didnt you use mould Holder? (If because to prevent the LOCA glue, than I am asking my self could you use scotch tape in combination with mould holder?
-What is that sprey?
-Is it better to use play cards to separate LCD and shattered glass or to use steel cutting wire to separate them?
+THE1B1 hi. The mould is not that good. Is just a crap one. The better moulds u will find is aluminium one.
Don't use scoci or sellotape. Because the loka will leak under.
Spray is called falcon 530.
And is better to use the wire. Faster. And leaves no scuffs or scratches

THE1B1 is just a simple double tape. red type. go over ebay. easy to find it. cheers.

THE1B1 no-no. don't use wd 40. is diferent more greasy. use just falcon. or search ebay for oca remover . they are many solutions.
also removing the oca and polarizer glue...the machine just usd135

dont do it, you can get a replacement for $60 and then sell your old screen to a refurb company for $25.
