Nier, The Last Guardian and Drakengard 3 aren't even your standard JRPG formula, and I am talking about JRPGs at the moment. What the world need is the return of Wild Arms, Grandia, Xenosaga, .hack, Suikoden, Legend of Dragoon and Breath of Fire.

oddly i find one scene interesting , when Lilka is being chased by those monsters. one part of the scene shows that kanon can be a badass in a fight. i do like marivel but it for many reasons.
I feel like the animation is muuuuuch cooler than the first opening but I'm not sure I like either of the opening themes... Unlike freaking WA1, awesome western feel to an awesome western-esque game.
i love this so much better. but the trumpet are classic... ah cant decide which one i like better ^^ all i know is that WA2 is still, by far, the best WA EVER. LILKAMARRYME
In the original Japanese version, neither disk's opening had vocals. This is the animation from the opening with the inferior soundtrack version instead of the superior instrumental "game edit" version seen in game.
I dunno about "superior". As the instrumental is always the gimped version of any op imo. It still cut version for the sake of not paying the labels royalty or just being lazy to make contract. Or even worse, they just wanna americanize product (Ted woolsey kind of deal). This always happen in psx era. And if you understand the song lyric, you will know this fit more than instrumental edit. I guess it's just taste, how alien are you when hear japanese song and what you heard 1st kind of deal.

Sony would rather make AAA cinematic walking simulators and have shutdown their Japanese studios. We will never ever get a Wild Arms.

Hearing the Japanese version after a long time, it feels like this game becomes a CLAMP anime.

naw man the instrumental version has the best trumpet ever this ones cool and all but the instrumental is extremely epic
WA 2 was a great game. The first into had a kick-ass trumpet solo (Band Geek!! LMAO) and this one has an even better one.
I'm a sucker for anime openings with Japanese singing, but I unironically prefer the Mexican trumpet version.🎺🎺🎺🎺
