Great video, one thing that I have noticed is that you are wearing your watch on your wrist bone, for maximum comfort with "any" watch, it needs to sit just below that bone.
Im so happy i found this channel because this is what im looking for reviewing apple watch ultra bands those gaps that you mention is very important to me and im happy you always point that out a lot of other youtubers dont mention that kind of flaws.
I don’t usually have the best experience with knock off watch bands, but I really like the look of #7 paired with the Apple Watch Ultra so I placed an order to try those out.
Just mentioned this. There are some bands that are a struggle to get on/off. (Even my Alpine loop that came with the Ultra had the issue and OEM Apple link) It almost feels..and, eh...sounds like Im grinding metal on metal... Yet others slid in perfectly. I have a 3rd party Steel band on now that fits just fine, locked into place with no issues.
The watch being on your wrist joint stresses me out. The reason #14 is uncomfortable is because you're literally wearing your watch in the wrong spot. its supposed to be above the wrist bone, lol
I love the magnetic straps. So comfortable and good looking. I’ve found quality does vary between brands. Some magnetic straps are reversible. Doubling the versatility of the strap
Great video. I like a metal band. Leather is a close second. Your review of such a large range was very helpful. I have large wrists, and I am often disappointed when I get a new band that it won't fit. Even ones that state their measurements are often way off. Some merchants will list their band length along with the watch size and others will just list the length of the band itself. I have and 8.75" wrist, so I need something over 223mm (including the watch). It would be super helpful if folks that reviewed bands would put a tape measure to them to see what length they actually are. Thanks again.
I agree. I just bought the Watch Ultra and the Ocean Band didn't fit my 8.5 inch wrist. I need a band that is at least 9.5 inches so I have more than one or two holes to put in. I ordered a leather band custom made. May be the only way for you and me. Apple tried to sell me an extender which was probably 400 mm and way to long.
Initial quality is great to know, but would be equally valuable to somehow be able to compare how they hold up vs their OEM counterparts. Granted it's probably impossible for one person to wear all those long enough to evaluate all that. Great video!
is it legal to use third party bands with the apple watch? that's a legitmate question cause you know how apple is. I have an apple watch ultra and would like to wear some bands that are not available on the apple website
Legal? Of course it's "legal". If you're asking if a third-party watch band will affect your Apple warranty, then no, no third-party band will affect an Apple Watch warranty. Hope that helps!
I love one and two. I’m glad I came across this video because I just recently purchased Apple metal band for my ultra for 349. Needless to say I’ll be returning it for one or two!
Yeah I had the official SS band in my Apple cart but I just couldn’t do it man. That price is insane especially when I’m only going to wear that band on certain occasions. These look more than good enough for me
New band ... I think some company (if not Apple) will offer an adapter so the old bands can still be used with the new band connection... that could be EVERY band company.
It seems like most people I see trying on the Apple Watch wear the watch kind of low, I wear the watch a little higher so that my wrist can move freely.
I'm only 35 seconds into this video and I completely disagree about the comfort of the alpine band. I keep hearing youtubers bashing on it but I actually find it more comfortable than my old series 2 sport band. I know its your own opinion but I feel like they really tried with this band. It hasn't been difficult for me to take off and I feel like it has the perfect amount of adjustability. Again I know this is just your opinion but I feel like there is a ton of hate about it that isn't really needed. But I will still watch this video because I want to see what's out there. Thanks! Also thought I'd add that this is my first watch upgrade coming from a series 2 and this battery is amazing. I'm going on 47.5 hours without taking it off and my battery is at 29% That is insane if you ask me.
thanks for the feedback mate... Honestly I rarely watch any other reviews before I do mine so I won't be biased... so I had no idea many others have similar feedback on RUclips. Having said that, I don't think there is a perfect band for all people and it's very subjective... so hopefully seeing a variety will help.
Thanks, about th only way is to get a lot of difference ones. Thank you doing all th bs required so I don't need to. Cheers! (I did get a few from your link)
I love my alpine band. Yours is too tight! I also love my ocean bands (I have two). I also have a titanium band that looks really good and a black stainless steel one that really suits but my orange alpine is my favourite
Did you find any 3rd party bands that would not slide into the Ultra’s slot? I have several 3rd party bands that wont slide in (all Apple brand bands do). Just curious if I have a watch problem or a band problem.
WOW Thanks for putting this video together!!! I have been looking to purchase a new band for my Ultra and you have hit on the main bands I have been considering. I think 1, 11 and 16 are among my favorites.
That’s awesome I’m glad it helped… while 1 is the best looking one, it’s the one that didn’t slide in as easily as others. Good luck and let me know what you’ll end up getting
Thanks for this! I was looking at bands 14, 15, 16 on Amazon...something different, wide also. But nah, not liking how it looks here. I have a few existing bands from older S0 42mm and S4 44mm which fit. The issue I am running into is what you mentioned off the bat...how hard it is getting these into the slots of the watch. Even the green Alpine Loop that came with this Watch I had bit of a struggle. Few other bands including Apple Link have the same issue - almost like these clasps are 0.3-0.5mm too large. But have some 3rd party bands that fit perfectly. Personally so far I am loving the steel bands for the Ultra. Now what I would love personally is if I can find a steel band that is super wide, just like Band 7, that solo loop.
Great video, one thing that I have noticed is that you are wearing your watch on your wrist bone, for maximum comfort with "any" watch, it needs to sit just below that bone.
Good video, man. Thanks.
This is exactly what I was looking for. You saved me a time on returning unwanted bands. Cheers!
Thanks mate.. which one are you going with?
Thanks for the video. Ever tried wearing your watch at the recommended place further up your arm? You may find it more comfortable.

Same here
can you tell me how you got your screen green mine is orange??
Great video! I got number 1. Man, I could barely get it on or off! So snug! Little worried. Might return and get another one!

I wonder if you can tell me what Watch Face you are using?
Can’t find it. Anyway, pretty good video.
Thanks mate. It’s called California. It’s pretty versatile
@@EnforcerMan Thank you. I found it the End of California Faces. Didn´t looked that far before, hehe

Besides the constant upspeak, I really liked this review - straight to the point.

Your video is great. Would you be interested to test our screen protector for Apple ultra,if yes how can we process this?thank you in advance.
Thank you but unfortunately the stand-alone accessories video do not perform well, especially for accessories that people won’t do much research on.
Hi, I really like #2 can you tell me what brand that is? Thanks in advance
I actually use that a lot. I have the link in the description
@@EnforcerMan Thank you

I like the magnetic but those stitches make it look cheap, the original from apple don’t have it.
I bought a black Oxwallen Sport Loop Nylon Band for the series 8 about a week ago from amazon. $10 and love it. Thinking about getting a red color.
Number 12 would look way better without the bottom peace of leather with the cut out and the stainless hardware will look good with the watch. Try it

They made the bands for the ultra for a reason .apple’s knows what they’re doing 🤷🏾♂️ my ultra band is super 🔥

Only the 1st band didn’t slide easily… all others were easy slide

Thank you for this video! You just gained a subscriber, keep it up. This video made my day brother!
You got it mate. Welcome to the channel 🍻
Thank you for this post 👍
The band is hard to put on because you have it on the watch backwards!
I had no idea… let me give it a shot
Thank you !!! This is the most detailed review ever. I appreciate it just wow
Thank you mate 🍻
Yes I agree hate alpine loop
I don’t get it. Why would i save money on bands if I’m paying 800 for a watch. I want premium at a decent price.
bro you didnt even peel the plastic off the first band when you showed it off
You'll have a mark on your skin with any band lol, just depends how tight you wear it, I'm sure you know that
Most of the banks which you are are small and does not justify the broad and thick Watch.
you are wearing these too close to the hand your watch should be 2 to 3 finger widths from the wrist bone
your camera focus is not ideal .. may need to not have such a shallow focal length
Thanks for the feedback
sorry but lock your focus please! it's never on the watch in the top down cams and I don't like watching blurry videos
You are suppose to wear a watch under the bone not over it on the wrist ...
👌👌👌
please skip the lyrics in the background music very distracting no hate
Thanks mate
You didn't stop grumbling for 15 minutes
Bro. If the loop was uncomfortable? Then you have it on way to tight. That is one of the most comfortable bands.
Thanks for the video. Ever tried wearing your watch at the recommended place further up your arm? You may find it more comfortable.
