    Thank you for making this video! Just got hands on my P8s and these satisfy me the most from all the IEMs I've tried. I would call them a perfect upgrade from my HEXAs with just enough bass quantity for my satisfaction.

    Great video! P8 is tunned exactly as my preferences. I hope other companies start to do similar tunnings, with more relaxed pinna gain and more smooth transitions from bass to mids.

    Jerry Harvey has been using varying lengths of tubes for phase and time alignment for many, many years. In their universal aion series they used a 3d printed system like the aful has… that was 5 plus years ago. Also had dual opposing dynamics in an isobaric chamber in their Jolene model, maybe 3 or so years ago, maybe 4. Moondrop seems to be getting the credit for that with the blessing 3. JH audio has done a lot of this stuff first and they don’t seem to ever get credit for it. As you can tell I’m a huge fan of their stuff and have several of their pieces. I really like your reviews, not trying to polite what you’re doing, you make good reviews. Just figured I would cal that out. Jerry Harvey had freq phase before Aful was even an idea.

    Yet another great review! I'm seriously considering getting the Penon 10th, based on your review and Tone Deaf Monk's, but the p8 was still in the way. This review settles that, but then you mentioned the 7th Acoustics supernova, which is just a small jump away from the 10th... and now I have to know how they compare! Down the rabbit hole I go again (in a good way).

    Thanks for the review!!! You are awesome as always. . .The things I struggle with the P5 is the DD is slow as molasses and has marginal impact. Also, the BA tamber is a little too much for my ears. I still use it as a sleeper iem for its comfort and I absolutely hate driver flex. It seems like the DD issue was really not addresed. I have no clue why they do not pair a speedy DD with the natural speed of the BAs. Frankly this calls for a Berylium DD. I am going to have to pass on this one and stick with my Blessing 3 as my nuetral go to IEM for now.

    Tea2 is my favorite IEM. Really liked the P5 too, but it just didn’t give me the same relaxing vibe. Surprisingly I’m really enjoying the IE200 now, gives me a similar vibe with insane comfort. Main difference is that the tea2 has the voices so darn close to my head. Is the P8 kind of like that? How is it different from the Tea2? I feel the comparison was a little shallow

    Hi Akros!! Listening to your video for the aful p8 too expensive right now and probably will be a future buy maybe 11-11 will be between this one, the sound rhyme sr8 and the supernova, but tomorrow I plan to get the Penon 10th anniversary!! @Tla Well, the price for me was one reason. The other was just because I want a Penon, almost bought the volt when it came out; their iems and accessories are high quality, so that's it! How would the P8 be with Trance, EDM with female vocals? That is my favourite Genre but listen to everything. Bought the Blessing 3's and they are terrible for EDM, Trance music. The highs are irritating and seem to over power all aspects of the tracks. What would you suggest in this price point for Trance EDM and all around listening to all genres with emphasis on EDM Trance! I found the Fiio FH7 way better than the blessing 3! Blessing 3 I hate will return them!

    How does it compare to the penon globe? I was going to buy the globe I want lush tone. Strange making the pipes so long and unmatched. The longest vintage horns are desired for their lush tone because of the increased second harmonic maybe thats what there doing here,

    • @akros9333
      @akros9333  Год назад +2

      Well I'll be honest, the Globe is amazing, but I feel that when you factor in value for money and what ultimately the IEM is capable of doing, music Versatility....the P8 comes out on top.
      They trade blows in many aspects....bass ultimately goes to Globe..... mids and highs to P8
      Lush....organic....old school vintage sound it's a very even match.
      If I was to make and analogy with vintage speakers.....P8 are some JBL 4310 studio monitors while the Globe is a Onkyo Scepter 500....maybe a little over the top the analogy but I think you get the idea
