I'll be honest here, knowing Dragonforce, I thought this song would be harder on bass. (I'm talking close to Dream Theater difficulty)

DragonForce has guitars going for it and nothing else. Their bass is atrocious in comparison to the lead. There's no deviation from the rhythm and it blows.
DragonForce are a true one-hit wonder as most of their songs sound exactly the same. They wouldn't be known the way they are if it wasn't for Guitar Hero III.

@@TheSpliffstarEffect on the contrary man. yes their songs sound the same but when they released their albums did you listen to it? most likely yes. a bass isnt supposed to deviate from the rhythm. the bass is the structure to the song along with the drums. why change the sound when what they make inspires so many more and sounds brilliant.

It's way easier with fingers. You can get twice the notes in by up and down plucking with your fingers alternating. You can easily play it in the correct time while plucking at a normal pace.

You cant break an E string without tuning it up, even then it would rip out bits of your bass

Technically easy, physically difficult. Just practice strumming until you have the technique and stamina for the fast bits and this will be as easy as a Blink 182 song.
