Lou Yi ...
Oh
Yeah do it i will thank you
I’m ur 500th like
Holy crap. There's no way Poppy grew into this!?!?!? I can't believe it. I remember watching those videos talking about how she was a cult leader and a Satanist while singing Bubblegum Pop and now I actually like her music
Me too
This is the catchiest thing ever, upon first listen wow
fancy gas masks, apocalyptic fashion, eating the rich... i can’t believe poppy predicted the coronavirus
Haha... you think this is her prediction? She literally came out with a song called "don't go outside" a month before covid was in the news.
Plz go check it out the lyrics are so relevant... almost like a prophecy
*laughs in June*
She is illuminati
@@nazimwani9470 Nope. She's Poppy.
It just hit me that Poppy signed with Sumerian Records, that's literally so heavy metal.
lol not even close
Uvulux, tremendo temazo nos has puesto
VERDAD
Temazo
When Poppy said, Let it all burn down. I felt that.
You and me both. 🏴❤️
same here
Honestly probably the most "normal" song of her's. Structure wise at least
Definitely the most normally structured song of hers since she started this hard rock era. I like it but I like my Poppy pop as well.
out of the metal songs at least
Some interesting melodies and rhythms though
BoxOfMysteriez i agree
no disagreement here. carry on.
Plot twist: this song is about titanic’s career
i-
edit: well now ik it definitely is af r the statement she put out lol it makes the song like 10x better
It is, she left him thank god.
i didn’t think about it like that. thats really clever
Actually I’m pretty sure it’s about how the Illuminati burned down Malibu to not only put in a new monorail line, but also to distract from the fact they were burning down average civilians’ homes in another part of the US at the same time. I feel bad I don’t remember where. Northern Cali - Wolsey and Paradise I think? May have been elsewhere there were A LOT of ‘wildfires’ in 2018; but everyone was focused on whether Kimye’s house was burning down, or other celebs. Idk if Poppy’s house was one of them but I’m sure the celebs knew, though they didn’t like it.
@@alanataylor1106 nice foil hat
Sold. Poppy gets it. What an incredible song and video.
I still have hope for music videos after this
"Poppy, what genre of music do you make?"
Poppy: "Yes."
Nu Metal & Post Genre
@@blackeagle6918 You're correct. There are also elements of trap, dubstep, metalcore, deathcore, rock, pop, pop rock, j pop, synth wave, and even hip hop I've heard peppered in her collective songs.
But, I just call it good. :)
@@GG256_ she is unique, some people say she is only Babymetal's copycat but actually they're different
@@blackeagle6918 I like Baby Metal too, but they definitely aren't as creative musically. I feel they focus more energy on their presence. Which is cool, cause they make good music too. But Poppy has huge potential, the album lined up for January already has like 4 bangers.
@@GG256_ Yeah Poppy able to sing Sunshine Pop and Cute metal at the same time, she even able to scream even it was not so that hard (but still very cool) and her song always give us a message, indirectional message which make it beautifull
her angelic voice works so well with heavy metal
May I introduce you to Deftones
Symphonic metal is your next stop then
No it doesn't
That's not heavy metal tho...
Deftones, Tesseract and 12 Foot Ninja say hello.
Also this is not metal. A distortion pedal on an incredibly simple beat doesn't make it metal.
I feel like the Sweet Poppy era is when her creativity and personality is being controlled while this Dark Poppy era is when she's done through all the shit and just wanted to rebel and break free. Still, it is a predictable phase and we can see the pattern in some artists. Perhaps the dark hand just wanted Poppy to feel like she can break free from the chains but she was still bound nonetheless.
I'm here because Poppy performance at Cologne, your voice cute af, I can't 😭
Mom: she's just going through a phase..
Poppy: *I disagree*
What up video reference 👌👌💟
In actuality
Poppy : 同意しません !
Poppy: *Jumps on table and starts singing*
People at the table: This is totally normal
lol
"Our CEO is dressed up funny, again" "Oh well, as long as she pays me at the end of the month is ok, I guess"
no worries, she does it all the time
Just another day with the toddler.
She does that every Friday
Love the melodic line in the chorus and the harmony. You blend pop and metal really well.
