Thanks for the video. It is amazing how much complexity there is in this old rangefinder camera compared to the simplicity of the pinhole cameras I have built.
I would really like to get my 7S working. Love the camera, been using it with sunny 16 since I found it. I cleaned the viewfinder which is great on this camera. It could use a CLA.
Hello It is a long, complicated process that would require making an hour long video tutorial. I plan making one someday, but not at this time. I am trying to catch up on my camera repairs at the moment. I'm running behind by several months. Search Google and RUclips. Someone may have already made a focusing video for rangefinders.
I am sorry, but I don't make tutorial videos, I only vlog. As for the top cover. It's simple. Remove the Rewind. Remove the Advance lever. Remove screw on left, right side, middle of the top cover. I am sure you can find a tutorial video with a Search on Google.
@@FilmCamera_Vlog i tried it on google, there is different camera & model. Anyway, once opened, is there any specific lens or wire or specific thing that I should not touch? And for the cleaning stuff what can I use? Any substitute as well? Thank you.
Sir, you getting sidetracked made me extremely happy, and you taught me so much of the inner workings of this camera by doing so, thank you!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I tend to ramble and get sidetracked when making these videos.
I can only agree! This was great! Amazing how good this old cameras are still working.

If they are made mostly of metal there is no reason they should stop working as long as there is someone to service them.
Honestly I think we all would love it if you just vlog’d yourself rambling while doing maintenance or repairs. You know how much we’d learn?! 😄
I have years of information in my head about film cameras and I want to just keep going. Sometimes I have to stop myself from rambling too much. LOL
Thanks for the video.

That was a facinating video, loved seeing the inside and learning about inner workings. Thanks for sharing! Wish there was a course on this.
I am sorry, but I don't plan to make any tutorials at this time. My repair business takes up all my time.

Hello 👋. Can you explain how to adjust the focusing system pls 🙏?

I use naptha to clean camera parts.
I hate that such small parts are different from the 7/7s/9.
