Because 350z’s aren’t sought after cars here. They’re really nothing special. Heavy, underpowered. People just don’t want them. The actually desirable cars like skylines, rx7’s, supras etc are still silly money Good luck getting an RX7 FD for example for anything close to what these guys paid for these things

Prices in the UK should be outlawed. I live in Austria and couldn't buy a boxter if I put both of what you paid together. I couldn't buy a 350z if I added another zero to what you paid for yours. And don't even get me started on insurance that costs more in 3 years than the car.
There’s loads of auctions you can use and these types of cars are always “cheap” there because it’s mainly dealers bidding and we don’t want those types of cars as stock for various reasons. BCA, G3, Aston etc just look them up.

I used to be absolutely obsessed with the 350 zed back in like 2007. I even signed up for a trade in at a local dealer when I was 15 and they even called back and asked about it and my dad was like ummm, wrong number lol. The vq sounds so freaking good in them. I used to look up apexi exhaust videos on them all day long on here. They're still like 15k for a nice one in the states right now with reasonably low miles. The cheap ones have all been abused aka turned into project cars. If you have either one of these two cars currently, please look after them. You are literally driving my childhood. They are at the point where prices are about to sky rocket.
I've never really liked the 350, but that was because I didn't know they did a higher revving version. I really want one now. Great cars lads I'm so jealous
I'm only 1:44 in and it could change with more info or opening the bonnet but as a previous 58' HR owner...thats an up rev (between the DE and HR which im sure came 57'). However the uprev came with the new look bumper and this car still has DE variant with stuck on black bits instead of reflectors. Its an uprev with an HR bonnet and DE bumper... im assuming its had a bump lol (continues to watch) EDIT: I stand corrected its an HR... get the right bumper on. And yes its good you know about the oil gallery gasket. Best to change around 90k up. I got rid of my Z at 103k.... reliable beast besides the front suspension.
I loved my 350z, but being a RevUp DE, it had the facelifted front bumper, like your HR should… but doesn’t! That’s the pre-facelift front. Great cars.
Absolute gem of an episode, excellent cars and there’s huge potential for both. Also great mix of buying sh*tboxes and mucking about with them and also having decent cars that you properly enjoy and have fun modifying them, smashing it guys 👌
I submit to you that the 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP has a worse engine bay. The correct procedure to change the rear plugs is to hang the front of the motor on an engine hoist while removing the front engine mount and then lower the front of the engine. The alternative is to bend the sheet metal of the body just under the rear of the hood where the rubber seal is installed. There's no room to do anything and it uses both a timing chain and a timing belt. I believe the right way to change those involves removing the motor altogether, my mechanic changed them without removing the motor but cut himself up doing it.
My dad’s 87 carrera sport had similar paint effect - light metallic grey / silver which had a slight blue purpley effect in certain light. Dark blue leather, white piping, black dash. Can still smell the leather now.

Yeah, I'm always amazed at it. These cars in my country costs over 15 times more, you need to pay high taxes to keep them, parts are crazy expensive and not usually available, very few shops can work on them and I don't even want to imagine how much the insurance costs.
Because 350z’s aren’t sought after cars here. They’re really nothing special. Heavy, underpowered. People just don’t want them. The actually desirable cars like skylines, rx7’s, supras etc are still silly money
Good luck getting an RX7 FD for example for anything close to what these guys paid for these things
@@TescoRoadmanAn rx7 FD in the UK is like 20k+ which in my opinion is incredibly cheap.
Will completely killed it with that 350Z....I cannot emphasise how much of a steal it is for that car. Unbelievable value for money for what you get! Love your work boys!
What auctions were you looking at!?!
Dealer only auction sites like carwow
TDC is only one of two subs that I get genuinely excited about the next episode 👌😍💪🏻
Make a video about how to buy at auction!
You guys are my favorite car channel! I wish i was in UK just so I could have a cheap 350z, cause here in spain the cheapest they get is about 15k euros 😪😪
Prices in the UK should be outlawed.
I live in Austria and couldn't buy a boxter if I put both of what you paid together. I couldn't buy a 350z if I added another zero to what you paid for yours.
And don't even get me started on insurance that costs more in 3 years than the car.
You've both smashed it. I am incredibly jealous of that Boxster.
You cant even find a roapy 350z for under 10k€ where I live, same goes for the Boxter
This is great work, its affordable and you did not trash them a real inspiration video Thank you
Can someone tell me what auction site they use pleaseeeeee
I think they use the motorway and carwow dealer only auctions, I remember Taylor talking about it
There’s loads of auctions you can use and these types of cars are always “cheap” there because it’s mainly dealers bidding and we don’t want those types of cars as stock for various reasons. BCA, G3, Aston etc just look them up.
Car wow but it's for trade only
These guys deserves all the attention and views just like every other automotive RUclipsr, since a of them are milking the content this is better to watch and unique.
Quickly become one of my favourite channels! I almost bought a 350z this year, bet it would've been full of rust
I love how enthusiastic you are about both of these cars! Two great buys, I'd say.
Excellent show!!! Great material , pace anr humour!!
This was a fun video guys! Awesome work and look forward to every episode!
“If you buy enough you’re going to get it right eventually” this man knows Edwin well 😂
Ben has a touring 5 series but keeps his golf bats on the backseat…
Absolutely agree .. if it's not raining .. doesn't matter how cold .. ROOF DOWN
Insert beastie boys root down music 😅
Around 20:00 they say the car came with 300 ish stock hp, but then they’re measuring wheel hp… the 350z is making like 330-340 at the crank in this case.
12:40 'THIS... is a weapon of war.'
love the choices guys!! can’t wait for more
I think we all agree that you did well with both of these cars! The Porsche looks great inside!
Boom 💥 Nailed it! Great content TDC 🙌
I've never really liked the 350, but that was because I didn't know they did a higher revving version. I really want one now. Great cars lads I'm so jealous
I'm also 6'5 and nothing could convince me to drop the roof on that Porsche. I'd be absolutely terrified of getting a 50cal rock through my head lmao
Those are proper bargains. Tbh I've seen some right bargains whilst watching auctions recently which I wish I bought. Looking forward to this series
The 350z hits close to the heart. I had 2 350's and I'm seriously considering getting another one. It just feels really special to drive
Its an uprev with an HR bonnet and DE bumper... im assuming its had a bump lol (continues to watch)
EDIT: I stand corrected its an HR... get the right bumper on. And yes its good you know about the oil gallery gasket. Best to change around 90k up. I got rid of my Z at 103k.... reliable beast besides the front suspension.
Buzzing loving the content keep up the good work
TDC NO1
Honestly the boys talking about cars they love? Give me more of that!
I loved my 350z, but being a RevUp DE, it had the facelifted front bumper, like your HR should… but doesn’t! That’s the pre-facelift front.
Great cars.
Both gorgeous cars, well done guys, can't wait for next week for the mods
Those wheels that the 350z came with are VERY desirable, you guys made out. That whole Z would be $10k+ in the states.
probably the only channel where carvertical ad actully kinda interesting, not same clip on every video
I really enjoyed this video. Thank you guys!
Absolute gem of an episode, excellent cars and there’s huge potential for both. Also great mix of buying sh*tboxes and mucking about with them and also having decent cars that you properly enjoy and have fun modifying them, smashing it guys 👌
Big fan of this episode lads, I had a 350z a long time ago and loved it, miss that car!!
One of the things I love with the autoalex group, is seeing the other cars in the background.
