They're very obedient dogs. They need an experienced handler that does not give in to them. Once they realize there is no work around, they are quick to respond and highly accurate.
@@uzzadazza she was found running in traffic. No one on her chip wanted her back so I "fostered" her to find a home. But, I was a "foster fail" and kept her. Glad I did !

I sat on the floor for the first month with my dogs (you can’t tell when they are squating) and my dogs are very well potty trained. It takes longer, but it can be done. Our Sheltie took 3 days.
My dacshound is in elite Rally obedience, and in class two in obedience i have competed 1 year only and i have about 20 ribbins in winning both Rally and obedience, he does many of the klass 3 and Even FCI obedience. i have No problen with making my dog do comands with a waging tail, and i do Never make him do thing he do not want to and i absolutlie do not ever pushes him down in any way physick or psykologi. Training only with toys , treat and lifting words. If my dog was afraid as some, i would never make any dog do anything or ask them of anything. You se the happy dogs want to work and they are happy and sucseesfull. some of them was funn some was chillingly bad to see. Hope the owners can change the way they Train and ask less of there dogs if they do not know how to propper Train a dog. Keep on going the right direction, working with the dog and not ageinst and demaning 🤩 Even a dacshen can be a star!
never under estimate the dachshund! Strong powerful long jaw, big teeth, strong prey drive, and capacity to destroy any toy given in less than 2 minutes. Obedience isn't really their thing.
