Hahah! Toyota's do tend to reign supreme with this style of build, but the Ranger is a worthy competitor no doubt.

Really like the setup on that Ranger. I’d go more aggressive on the tires (larger if possible) & different wheels. Those wheels look good on Jeeps, but not so much on trucks.

Really wanted to watch, but I’m ‘bout to 🤮 from earthquake. Even an iPhone rear facing camera has some stabilization fellas. Great channel tho, just grab the right gear... stat.

Did you mount the RCI rack with the RCI C-Clamps?
Is this the 5ft or 5.5ft bedrack?
What do you do with all the OEM parts that are pulled from the vehicle? I'm asking because I want to know if there is any residual value in the parts to reduce the cost of all these upgrades
What exactly does the bed rack screw into on the bed? Does it just attach onto the plastic piece on the bed?

Theyre great till you need to actually fill the bed up. Lets say with fire wood, dirt bikes, lumber for projects, snowblower, washing machine, couch and so on. Then you go to do it and find out most of the depth of the bed is gone and probably will be too much weight for it to handle

Not sure what the timeline is on the Icon's with reservoirs yet, but as soon as they're available we'll have a blog post on our site about it. Definitely going to be a cool setup!
Looks like you wouldn't be able to fit a fridge back there. Sucks because I like the look of the mid height bed rack but with the deck system it makes it impossible to fit much in there.

Yeah...months behind on this question. I'm digging this setup, but have two questions. 1) How much space is there between the top of the decked and the bottom of the RCI? Could you slide a large cooler in there? 2) If I didn't want to put an RTT on top, is there provisions for mounting a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform or Front Runner Slimline II?
You can certainly fit a large cooler under the RCI rack, as for mounting the Pioneer or slimline II, I don't think it's possible due to the mounting locations, for the rack being more centered.
@@stage3motorsports Thanks! That's kind of a bummer since I'm much more interested in a over-bed cargo rack for small items and then larger storage underneath for a ground tent. Love what you guy's have done with the Ranger.

@@redbeardedberserker No, sorry. Right when I was looking to pick up a Ranger, the price of trucks and SUVs went nuts. Ended up going a totally different vehicle route instead. Might come back to this idea in a couple of years, though

Haha! It's limited for sure, but I think you'd be surprised how much you can actually see through the RCI rack. I haven't found it to be much of a nuisance.
Raise the crossbar up and install camera in window. I have full view of rear.
Better to rotate the tent and have the ladder on the passenger side.

Is the ladder long enough for a ranger with a 6inch lift kit ?
You should have enough length to reach the ground being lifted at 6"

When are the performance ranger mods coming?
Performance aftermarket is still limited for these Rangers so we didn't touch the engine for this build. Hopefully over these next couple months we'll see some more performance mods hit the market and we can get our hands dirty! Thanks for watching

Yes. RCI has that option.
Go with the diamondback cover. Super strong and well worth the money
@@Hitman-zi1fv can you put a bike rack on top of one of those and still access your bed easily. I didn't see any options like that on there website.
Good question. The way the RCI rack sits on the bed rails makes installing most tonneaus almost impossible unfortunately, but there may be ways to custom fit one.
Chris McFee yes you can. The tailgate is still 100% functional with a rack or stuff strapped to the tonneau cover. I put my quad on top and all my gear in the bed for day trip rides.

a video about building a great offroading truck and some of these guys complain about a little camera shake.. they wouldn't stomach a novice offroad trail lol
While there can be a ton of shake off-road the camera shake was a bit excessive on our part on this one.
