Honestly it's in no way worth it usually in some specific instances it worked out as a successful weapon but unless your going to just air drop the t virus over major metropolitan areas it's not very useful as a weapon. The armored el gigante might have been good if he could have been used as a weapons platform. Otherwise I'd say only the verdugo and chief Mendez could be called successes.
The scope makes the rifle much more comfortable in my opinion, the iron sights makes me miss most of my shots. Assault rifle with scope is the best gun in the game imo, it makes some of the hardest fights an absolute breeze.

Honestly the biggest gaping plot hole in this game is Leon's original mission was just to confirm ashely was there him attempting to secure her solo was just him flexing but once hed confirmed her location and reported it , it was game over. Saddler should have taken the amber and ran. They make a big deal about a little storm. The us has pilots trained to fly anything in any weather any where the night stalkers would like to say hi and a single AA gun isnt going to stop them with miniguns and hellfire rockets. Even if they decided no air entry we have seal team 6, 2, 8 and 10 all ready to respond plus delta. 3 of those teams are already stationed nearby. Now maybe because there's a hostage they want people who specialize in saving hostsges and missions that require finesse well then we have the FBI HRT hostsge rescue team. Thats 100 men strong. Its the FBI's top 100 operators all of whom are basically as much special forces as it gets without being in special forces most of whom used to be in special forces. Theyd be going in with secret service operatives maybe. Now if the president wanted to reslly send a message he could send a fucking ranger regiment or bigger unit and make that island a memory . People really dont understand how many big fucking guns and guys who get hard thinking about storming Normandy, Leon would have to back him up. Saddler could have literally 10,000 verdugos it wouldn't even buy him an hour maybe , maybe 15 minutes.
It's unfortunate that without the Cat Ears, the CQBR is technically far less practical than the Stingray or even the M1903. Because sniper ammo in this game is only slightly more common than magnum ammo and since the CQBR is always on full auto, you have to discipline yourself in holding trigger for less than a second or risk throwing your bullets into the toilet. Also, the recoil on the thing is as bad as the TMP without the stock, so it easy to miss headshots with this gun and waste precious ammo. If this weapon had at least a selective fire option to toggle between semi and full auto, I would recommend it more. But unless you have a stockpile of ammo and a discipline trigger finger (or have wear the Cat Ears), you're much better off using the M1903 rifle IMHO.
Yes but: GIven how ammo drops work in the game, the CQBR holding a whopping 32 at max is a huge advantage. Having no ammo of a weapon type in case increases the drop chance of that ammo type. In my no merchant run, at one point I had a full mag + 96 rifle rounds solely from drops and occasional craft.
@@Nobrr_ Yes but: Holding 32 sniper bullets is greatly offset but the fact that holding the trigger for even slightly less than a SECOND can cause you to fire 2-3 bullets per shot, and unless you aiming centre-mass of a target, you'll most likely waste those shots, unless of course you're able to to compensate you aiming with the recoil. Personally, If I want a rifle that holds more ammo, I'd rather use the Stingray.
I love that even though it's infinite, there is still a reload because some of the reload animations in this game are beautiful. I hope they keep this for future games going forward.
Either of the other rifles are a much more efficient use of the ammo, as they both do far more damage. And the G36 with the exclusive upgrade fires plenty quickly while still maintaining good recoil control. If you want to maximize the efficiency of the ammunition obviously go with the bolt action which hits almost as hard as a magnum round when fully upgraded. I used the ammo in the gun against the knights in the library and then boxed it until I get the cat ears.

It's not a G36, but it's based off of it. The gun is an HK SL-8, which is essentially a neutered version of the G36. Foreign countries have to abide by 922R regulations for import, so often times they butcher their export items to make them comply with laws. Along with that, HK has never been too friendly with exporting guns to the US, which is why we don't really have access to MP7, HK416, and UMPs (also why it took so long to get legit MP5s in the country). Those guns do exist in the US however, but you have to pay exorbitant prices and jump through hoops to source one since there are so few of them.

My strat was to do one run, get S+ with the unlimited Chicago Typewriter to get the cat ears. Then do another run with cat ears for unlimited ammo on everything else. Once you get a magnum, you are golden.
Do mercenaries and get an s on all 3 maps with a character, then you’ll be able to get the hand cannon and use it for your run. If you want an easier way you can now buy the exclusive ticket but if you want to do it legit try to save up and upgrade it all the way. You’ll have it infinite by the castle most likely

Most people unlock Chicago or Handcannon and speed run getting enough Spinels to get the exclusive, though nowadays you can spend $5 for the exclusive instead
The Government really hates waisting money on properly arming their agents and soldiers in Resident evil. Imagine your starting gun was this rifle. Think about how easy it would be to get to the church or castle
In OG the Thompson felt like it was using .45 magnum rounds because few shots can clear the bad guys easily while in Remake it uses TMP 9mm ammo and takes way more shots to beat bosses now. While M4 supposed to be using 5.56 in game it uses 7.62 rifle ammo
the cool part about this gun is that you only have to upgrade the damage and use the ticket on the exclusive upgrade to get a weak point melting weapon

In older RE games full auto guns are all categorized to SMG.
Whatever (L) resources you have you could just focus into crafting rifle ammo instead of SMG.

Easily the best gun with the bio sensor this gun does like 15-16 damage to the head at full auto

Ive never heard most of the Roman boss fight dialogue. Ive played the orginal a million times. I bought and upgraded my broken buttfly just for this fight and it did the job quickly.
i always thought AR and Sniper ammo would be seperate but not apparently

Cat Ears. Accessory you get for getting S+ on Professional Run. It has to be a fresh new save also lol I’m working on it but that 5:30:00 time is kinda tight tbh 😂 would recommend Ashley armor and “maybe” chicken helmet idk
