Rajang in rise might be slow, but i predict it will be the same as iceborne after the ultimate version released, they kicked my ass when i use any long range weapons.
I'm always a lance user cause it is my comfort zone and tried lbg and heavy bowgun I would say long range weapon is hard need to be precise and need lots of tactics.

Keep trying, you'll get there ! Once you get the hang of the monster's patterns, it becomes easier.
