All of the youtube episodes are actually a half episode of the original format so decent chance they Is did dive deeper-but you probably would be more upset if they did - their strength is discussing leaders, tactics and strategic level map movement...you COULD talk about those for the air war in Europe of course but most documentaries discuss Performance & pilots.

This is ridiculous to blur out parts. 1st of all these are old & have been seen before without being blurred. 2nd, an earlier comment mentioned the fact that this is history. A warning before it's shown or periodically is enough. Most are not interested in gore so that's not what is upsetting. Blurring helps to lose the storyline. Personally, I usually watch something else. It becomes to irritating to watch.

Upon the surrender of Japan, some 45,000 Japanese Prisoners of War were in the custody of American authorities in the Philippines. These POWs were held in a number of camps around the country, and were used as labor for war reparation. Gen. MacArthur formed the Philippine War Crimes Commission, while Pres. Sergio Osmeña formed the National War Crimes Office. Both offices supported each other in the pursuit of war crimes trial in Tokyo, and later on the Philippine War Crimes Trial.
