You got info about PoE 2 wrong, very wrong. It's not releasing in Novembar, it's going into early limited early access and release will be in around 6 months from that point. It's a completely new game, it isn't a rework of PoE. It doesn't share the campaign, it's a completely new campaign set 100 years after the events of PoE. Updated visuals/character classes, it's all new made for the new game. You still get your purchases in both games. PoE 1 will still exist as a standalone game. The devs mentioned it many times that the idea is that you can switch between 1 and 2 depending on the patch releases. When you're done with playing a new patch of PoE 2 you go play the new patch of PoE 1.
Also he mentions that you have to buy poe1 expansions which is not true, all expansions are free in PoE, there is no carryover of expansions. Just bad info all around.
you also have to either pay for a supporter pack (min $30), have spent x amount of dollars in poe 1, or get invited in order to play the early access version of the game. the full release but will be 100% free
Also, for anyone that would like to play the early access. It's gonna be a new pack that they'll be adding in that you can purchase in order to play it until the full release! (Unless you've spent like 500 dollars on the game which will give you free access to it if it's as they used to do in the past.)

A correction on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. There is a MASSIVE new feature in MSFS2024; for the first time, ever, you will be able to get out of your plane and walk around. There is also going to be a career mode and more in-depth missions that involve getting out of your plane in some cases. It is an iterative series. But MSFS2024 is shaping up to be a really, substantive leap forward.
There is so much more to the game, VR, smaller download size and optimization, all that extra career stuff, hopefully it will be great. Too costly though.

Lots of things to correct for Path of Exile 2. 1 - This is paid early access, full game release will be free 2 play 2 - This is a completely different game from path of exile. There are no 2 campaigns anymore with shared endgame 3 - Skins and tabs will transfer over from poe 1 into poe 2, unless there is some outlier item with a limitation which 99% of the players don't need to worry about

However GGG has done EA for poe 1 release and Fall of Oriath and in both of those times there was substantial content. EA in their eyes = allowed to make rapid changes mid-season as otherwise they tend to be very hands off. The endgame is expected to be very fleshed out in the EA thats coming up. But again, save your money if you are not sure about supporting this and check back later :) I personally trust and respect these devs so i will be checking it out.

The demo of Empire of the Ants was solid so hopefully you're not always confined to a single segment of ground with mission objectives that don't let you colony build. I'm curious about STALKER 2 and Path of Exile 2 but I rarely buy hype filled games on Day 1 anymore. So, November sees this guy buy indy and then wait for all the Teal Weds to Black Friday, to Cyber Monday, to OMG Christmas is right around the corner Day for all those shiny discounts.

Fun fact, Sim Ant was made my Maxis and Sims creator Chris Wright. In the original sims game they programmed the sims to use pheromones to lead them towards certain items to fulfill needs (I.e shower for hygiene) which they borrowed from Sim Ant.

Please go watch The Stalker 2 documentary and the amazing human story of developing a highly anticipated sequel while your city is being invaded by another country. Ive never played stalker but have already pre-ordered this regardless because the actual real world human story behind making the game is nothing short of unimaginable.
When I was a wee lad, I spent hours stumbling around in the dungeons at the start of Dark Cloud. I never got any further, and I can't remember why, but I do remember it being really fun.
It would be cool if Slitterhead had a rogue-like element to it where during missions you only have a few number of times changing bodies. By dying you are forced to choose another body, bringing the number down. But you also have the choice to risk choosing another body intentionally. The reason you would want to do this is because each body has an RNG on what abilities you will get.
Stalker 2 man, been looking forward to that one for many years. I really hope it isn't a mediocre disappointment as we have sadly seen a lot of in the past couple of years

I did it with Shredder’s Revenge and do not regret it at all. Not to mention, the game just looks good from everything they’ve shown, so I’m sure people are gonna play it in truckloads.

PoE2 is only releasing as early access in November. Which there will be supporter packs to get into, or if you spent a certain amount on PoE1 purchases. It will be released later as a free game as well. There should be info released this week or next week regarding all this.

Late to the video, but yes, young whippersnapper, there was combat in Sim Ant. It was no fun since you lost every time. You needed enough worker ants to collect enough resources to make the necessary amount of warrior ants, but in the countdown to when the fire ants attacked you could t collected enough resources AND grow the warrior ants. If you got lucky you might be able to balance the timing by accident, but no, you lost every time

Also, you don't pay for the expansions in either PoE1 or PoE2. You can buy each new league's supporter packs if you want, but they are not required.

By dying you are forced to choose another body, bringing the number down. But you also have the choice to risk choosing another body intentionally. The reason you would want to do this is because each body has an RNG on what abilities you will get.

@@VeritabIlIti Exactly. It’s cheap and accessible to new players and I imagine it’s gonna help boost sales with people enjoying it on Gamepass enough to purchase it. I did it with Shredder’s Revenge and do not regret it at all.
Not to mention, the game just looks good from everything they’ve shown, so I’m sure people are gonna play it in truckloads.

PoE2 is only releasing as early access in November. Which there will be supporter packs to get into, or if you spent a certain amount on PoE1 purchases. It will be released later as a free game as well.

Late to the video, but yes, young whippersnapper, there was combat in Sim Ant. It was no fun since you lost every time. You needed enough worker ants to collect enough resources to make the necessary amount of warrior ants, but in the countdown to when the fire ants attacked you could t collected enough resources AND grow the warrior ants. If you got lucky you might be able to balance the timing by accident, but no, you lost every time
I cannot wait to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, kudos and huge respect to GSC Game World for managing to finish the game-considering it was during the invasion and illegal occupation of their country.

I loved Dark Cloud. I actually didn't know about Towers of Aghasba. Glad I do now. Hope it has some true Dark Cloud inspiration in it, because it would probably end up as my game of the year then.

14:00 POE 2 without a doubt. HATE what they've done to Diablo and always wanted to try POE 1 but I was playing D3 at the time and really didn't want to have to grind for loot in both games. Love your work Flacon keep up the great work!
Empire of the Ants looks amazing
This video did not mention that Metro: Awakening is a VR game. And he said that it's just coming to PC. The reality is that it is coming to PCVR and PSVR2 which was not mentioned at all. I love gameranx, but it feels like I catch inaccuracies or important info being left out all together in each video that comes out lately.
Dark Cloud is the game that changed gaming for me.
I still revisit the game and have occasional play-throughs every couple years.
Stalker 2, one of the games that pushed me to build a PC. 😊 Mirthwood also looks interesting, thanks for sharing something I hadn’t heard of yet!
