This episode in particular is where I realised saitama was a hero. He may be overpowered, but that doesnt neglect the fact that he tries and does save people. Even someone who wanted to destroy him. When he needed help, saitama was there. Saitama is a hero.
while mosquito is the fastest character in one punch man, he isnt the strongest, he can easily dodge all attacks but he cant dish it out. the creator had to balance him somehow

fun facts: 1- when saitama's punch shredded suiryu's clothes people thought suiryu was just flexing his muscles. 2- the reason why saitama's pants fell thats because suiryu managed to take saitama's belt when saitama butted him.

The way I took the show was he didn't just become stronger from basic training. He was very similar to Crabman, but instead of transforming into a monster that represented an addiction like most monsters. His limiter broke instead and transformed into what he thought a hero should be.

Im also curious about the prophecy before Boros arrives. As it was clearly not meant for Boros or the monster association. I think its about saitama going rogue at some point, where he sees the hero association as something evil and destroys it. I could also overthink things, seeing that its a gag-manga and all :D

This whole scene was incredible, there's many people, including myself who popped off irl when Saitama swooped in to save Suiryu. Such a good moment dude.

That's what Suiryui learned, he swallowed his pride and yelled for help even though he thinks he is the strongest. If he took to much pride in himself and didnt yell for help he would have died. If Suiryu countered him, Saitama would have been forced to kill him since he himself counters the most devastating attacks and enhance the power output. That is why he one shots everything.

Thats some amazing character development arc right here. He took a huge beating to be humbled and grow. I went from despising him for his cockiness at the beginning, to respecting him when he refused to consume the monster cell, to downright feel bad and emotional when pleading for help, to being one of my favorite characters in wanting to prevent Saitama from being "murdered". Because usually, they don't realize just how stupidly strong Saitama is and how far he's out of their league. Saitama doesn't act or look like anything special, so they think he's just a chump pretending to be tough. And once the fighting starts and nothing they're using on him seems to be working, they just go into deep denial, because it's just that hard for them to believe that a nobody like Saitama is outclassing them this hard. The fact that Saitama is this strong should, in their world, mean he would be one of the most famous heroes. But he keeps flying under the radar and being unnoticed by everyone, so the cycle just repeats itself over and over.

I was expecting more moments like 2:43 in the second season I was honestly really bored because of the few apparitions of Saitama, I was hoping for more wholesome full of meaning moments like the sea king battle also. I know most people like this of focusing on others characters, but I think is such a waste...
