    👍🏻For the price the Nokta Double Score is a great little detector for beginners 👍🏻Thanks for posting 👍🏻

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  10 месяцев назад

      Totally! The price point is great. Especially when you consider the fact that it's waterproof to 10+ feet! 😯 And it being collapsible means it can be used for snorkel detecting or diving to 15 feet without needing a diving shaft. I'm excited to get in the water with it. Once it warms up, of course!

      I own a Manticore but I’m not one of those detectorists that say I have the best. I think Nokta is doing a great job. Either way they say dig every signal so who the heck has the best detector. I hope She Detector doesn’t leave us high and dry again with no little or no regard for her followers. We shall see.

    In the retake portion of your video it was just nice to get a glimpse of green grass and trees with leaves on them. HA HA ! I really like the way the screens and functions are laid out on these machines. It looks like it would be easy to learn the operation of the machines. If I was in the market for a new detector I’d take a good hard look at this one !

    Was it quiet when using it at the beach by only going into beach mode? (You didn't have to do the grounding set or change the sensitivity?)?

  • @DennisWiggins-v7p

    Great video. I think that curved rectangular piece you found is a piece of an old screw top bottle cap. They are very similar (except metal with the perforated part at the bottom) to the plastic caps used on plastic "coke" bottles today. I haven't seen one of those is at least thirty years! They MAY still be used on cheap wine bottles, though. I may buy a Double Score soon. Your video reinforced the one other I watched regarding it. I was a little skeptical because of the unbelievable price for such quality, but you definitely proved it is a good little investment!

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  10 месяцев назад +1

      Yey! Congrats! I think most machines can be confusing to start. That's why I like using a preset factory mode, like Beach mode, and work with it using the default settings. After getting to know the machine better, then I start messing with the settings. I'm sure you'll have a great time with it! 😃

    Tnx for showing the Double Score. It's a great looking detector. You said beach mode is default multi-frequency. On the re-shoot, default "single frequency." At least for the US, Nokta would've done better to pay for your voice to say, "power on," instead of using the accented one. 🤪

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  10 месяцев назад +1

      OMG, you're right. I did get it jumbled up. 😬 I'll add something to next week's video to clarify it. Thank you for letting me know! It does default to SINGLE frequency in beach mode, and you can't change it while in beach mode. Yea, it's hard to understand, but with them being a foreign company, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. We Americans are spoiled and expect everything to revolve around us. Lol!

      @@SheDetector So for a complete beginner who only wants to detect on the beach does that mean there is no point buying the double score? And is the score my best option? I am nearly 70 years old and not very techy so i need something very easy to use. BTW I am in England.

    Nickel is usually 25-26, I have 2-14krings, 1 rang up a20,the other 30-31,and silver is usually 47to 50

    • @SheDetector
      @SheDetector  10 месяцев назад

      Great info! Where do you normally hunt? I'm curious if detecting location changes the number readings, even though it's the same target. Know what I mean? For instance, the reading of a nickel at a salty beach compared to the same nickel in a forest. 🤔 It seems like an experiment is needed!

    • @diggingnashvegas

      @@SheDetector I use park mode usually, M1, iron filter2, high recovery speed, no ground suppression, mainly hunting old schools and playgrounds, haven't gotten to my civ.war site yet with it, but it goes deep and separates well
