I saw, real time, the season of the voice in which you participated. You were awesome. When I heard this song I honestly thought it was something of the 60s/70s, there's just such an oldie vibe to it that I love. When I noticed that it was you from the voice I was so happy! This song is a classic. Don't know how else to describe it. ❤.
I like the acoustic performance but you HAVE to know that in your studio version, one truth holds true (in my experience) -
When I played your song in different places (at home, at my school where I teach, in my classrooms for my students to listen) ALMOST EVERY WOMAN who listened to your studio version fell in love with the piano/synth part at 3:13 of your song. It was/is a beautiful song and that part simply sealed the deal.
