One of the recent updates I missed in Stardew was being able to buy the Tea Set. Prior to 1.6, it was only available from the Feast of the Winter Star, but now from Year 25 and onwards, there's a 5% chance for it to appear in the Traveling Cart for 1,000,000g.
I got the rare screen while gaming with my bf. I was like OMG A NEW INTRO!!!! DID YOU SEE IT??? then i just started closing and opening the game again and again non stop, thinking "WHERE DID I CLICK? HOW DID I DO IT????". Im glad it was a rare thing and not a delusion
In the 1.6.4 update, Concerned Ape expanded the objects you can decorate your fish tank with even further. Now you can include decorations like joja cola cans, pineapples, and even these purple shorts i found.

If you get the alien event and have pigs, the day the alien breaks out of the test tube one of the truffles will grow legs (like a cave crab) and can be killed, dropping 3-5 truffles.
When I started playing, I had a meteor drop right around the time I had built my barn, and I was very confused about the pregnancy option with my animals. My pickaxe wasn't strong enough to break the meteor, so I fenced it in and planted a forest around it in an effort to keep my animals away from it. I was convinced that aliens were trying to make babies with my animals.
FALSE. the alien event have nothing to do with the truffle crab, the truffle crab is its own event that have a chance to spawn one when a truffle are not picked up. dont spread misinformation please
I got a perfectly good day on one day and was so confused! Also something I noticed is the holiday events change each year! I went to the events in year one and they were what they normally were, then in year 2 everything got swapped around and the Halloween event has a new maze! 😮 (Different prize too!)
I actually just got the new loading screen option a couple hours ago! I was wonder why it was different! I was expecting the normal one but all the Junimos popped up and it was so cute!!!

NOW if you add clay to a fish tank, it spawns a little sand castle in the fish tank! if you dont like the configuation of items, you can pick up the tank and put it back down. it'll randomize the location of decorative items when you do!
I wish you started to swing back and forth just a bit when you sat on the swings, they don’t need to add any major animations I just wanna little bit of swingy swing

I want an alternate ending for when you decide to marry a person like Sam marries Penny or Maru and Harvey. But if you end up with Emily, Clint ends up with Sandy.

Allergic to bisexuality? The entire game is filled with the bi/pan bachelors and bachelorettes 😭 Just because the town doesn't talk about it openly doesn't mean the game itself is avoids it. It is heavily present in Alex's storyline and many of the marriage candidates bring it up one way or another. Not having to put labels on it is good in my opinion. Because sexuality and gender is not the point of this game. You are allowed to express yourself however you want here and not putting a label on it is quite positive. Obviously there's a lack of a gender neutral player, but that once again, isn't a big deal. You can still make your character look androgynous. You keep mentioning in this series how the game avoids it but in my opinion the game simply doesn't want to put such a big emphasis on something that, ultimately isn't a big deal in pelican town. No one actually cares when you marry a same gender person as you besides George if you marry Alex as a male farmer. I'm bisexual, and Stardew Valley has always been a game that made me feel normal for being the way I am. It never once shamed the concept and it never forced a label onto it either. It never makes any of it's characters feel the need to come out. Alex too only comes out to himself and the farmer, no one else really. And even George comes around to the concept eventually. This can happen on its own, no Aliens required
it works kinda like the big crops, if you let them be there a crab might go under
