    Good reviews, your comments on the Hunter were of particular interest to me. I think you answered some of the questions I had about it, which had not been touched on in other reviews I’ve watched. I’d still like to give it a test ride.

      Absolutely give it a go and see if you like it. I really enjoyed the Hunter for sure but for some strange reason i keep getting drawn to the Scram.
      Would love to own one and do a whole series of videos on that bike.

    I've got that sunset orange Interceptor, and like your Classic 350, people are always asking me about it. I've got a 40 mile commute to work and I have to take the interstate, I'm in a 70 zone, north of me its 80 to the idaho border. I used to have to avoid the interstate in my 1967 C20 Chevy because it had 4.56:1 gears. it was about 60MPH at 4000 RPM. I replaced the rear axle in it a few years ago with a newer 14 bolt and had 3.73:1 gears, it went from 4k@60 to 3.2k@70.. You can imagine how dangerous it was for me to be stuck at 60 on the interstate! and to think I drove it from Ogden UT to Dickinson ND to Salem OR and back to Ogden like this, 3000 miles.

    The speed issues you mention remind me of driving my old VW Beetle. It realistically had a top speed of 60 and even at 40 required a downshift to make it up a hill on a country road. It was fun and engaging in a completely different way than my faster cars. It could go on the freeway, but one just had to stay in the slow lane and know you were a road block. Yet, literally tens of millions of people happily drove these.

    I’ve owned my Hunter for 8 months now, and I absolutely love it. It’s an absolute blast to ride. I’ve added the DNA air filter, and AEW free flow exhaust, and after breaking 1k miles, it has plenty enough get up and go around town and on highways. It does 70 without much struggle and I’ve taken it past 80 on the interstates here, however, the interstates are undesirable for me on a motorcycle to begin with besides it simply being the fastest way from point A to point B and missing the whole point of motorcycle ownership IMO of scenery and the like. Where it thrives though is in handling on curves and backroads. It’s too much fun quite honestly. I have taken it moto camping in the mountains, on planned highway routes, and plenty of around town trips, and it performs exceptionally well. I have no complaints with the 350 engine, especially since it’s a bike that is super simple to work on and the mods are ridiculously inexpensive and there is a plethora of them to pick from.

      How is that exhaust set up. I've been thinking about that one if i ever were to get that bike and do a video series on.

      @@FoxParasyte It is basically just a slip on that looks almost identical to the stock, but without the diverted air flow. It has a removable baffle as well if you so choose to go that route. It was only a hundred bucks, but well worth it IMO. The only other ones I considered was the Diabolus, and the Coffman shorty slip ons, but it’s pretty much the same concept, albeit different looks and they appears to be a bit lighter, so that may play a role.

    I noticed the Janus tag on your keys... Do you have a Janus? I have a Halcyon 450. I also have a RE Classic 500.

      The people at the shop were nice to work with while I was ordering my Halcyon. Their bikes are certainly unique. @@FoxParasyte

      I think they're releasing a Griffin 450 soon. They teased a bike recently that looked an awful lot like it. I was thrown off by the picture of the bike having a high mounted twin exhaust on the left side of the bike.

    hunter has a quicker mapping than the rest but for USA standards it is still slow , and sometimes it is safer to be faster than the rest of crowd so in my opinion for USA, any 650cc enfield is the safer and better suited option than a 350 but in india 350 is safer and better option due to the way traffic operates❤❤

    • @FoxParasyte
      @FoxParasyte  10 месяцев назад +1

      A lot of it comes down to where you live and where you are riding. I know that i can take a 350 anywhere i need to go by me. That however doesn't apply to everyone.

      @@FoxParasyte i lived 5 yrs in usa and have ridden in from key west to smokey mountains / tenesse/vegas to grand canyon in snow as well. if you touch expressways the bigger machine you have the better, within city it is fine but in freeways you need biggest blocks to be safe and harley’ s character in freeways is the most safe bet no one wants to mess with that big harley rumble and it can overtake any damn fast car there.

    I am from india, and Scram 411 will be discontinued in the coming months. By the end of the year, they will be launching guerrilla 450(scram).

      @FoxParasyte himalayan 450 was a bighit in india and Europe. I am too sceptical about scram 450's design and its suspension 😄😄. There are a lot of spy shots available on youtube.
