Very cool design. I like the way you screw it down to the waste board. That could give it some interesting applications. The quick setup time is good also. It took me most of the day to setup my xcarve.
it took us 5 days to do the x carve! This will take less than an hour (more like 15 mins).
@@OnefinityCNC Took me 2.5hrs to put together the shapeoko 3 xxl and run a first test. Will you do any development on the cam software?
Thanks for the update. Being an X-Carve owner, I think "constant adjustment" of the v-wheels and belts is a bit of a stretch (
we think screws are the bee's knee's.
@@OnefinityCNC when you send me one of the units to try out, I'll report back 😬. I'm just pointing out belts are not *that* bad ☺️
Great video love yall
Two Moose is great!
Will you please post a video homing the machine. Im curious about the limit switches.
Also, can you control the look ahead feature (slowing down at corners) and tool lead on/off features?
Thanks for the video.
Check out our facebook. We just posted about limit switches. Yes, you can control the s curve and jerk settings.
Thank you
so looking in to getting one of theses
Hurry up and join the list!
At the 30 second mark clearing out the bowl, what kind of bit is that??
message @twomoosedesign !
Very cool! I placed an order for one this morning. I have a laser, but am otherwise completely new to CNC. I have a couple of questions. What kind of squaring is necessary when assembling the machine? Are the black steel attachment plates self-keying and do all the X/Y squaring for you when you tighten the bolts down?
Also, would it make sense to mount the rails on 1/2" risers so that when you surface the 3/4" MDF waste board, you would maintain more of the 4" Z axis travel and possibly eliminate the potential of hitting your waste board mounting hardware or t-tracks if the z-travel is set too low. Am I thinking correctly about that?
It looks like I have till October to design & build a home for the machine, so I have a little time to plan out the build. Very much looking forward to this machine!!
yes, self keying.
its possible to put it on risers!
Do you have to use a Makita? And you say the dust can't gum up the machine but what keeps the rails smooth during months of operation? I would assume there has to be some lucubration?
The current mount is 65mm, so any 65mm spindle. There are wipers on the sealed bearings to keep dust off. There is lubrication in the ball screw. A simple bead of lubricant and blowing off the rails every now and then will keep it working 100% for years to come.
Im new to CNC. This looks dynamite. The simplicity is impressive. Will there be more in depth info from Onefinity and demonstration?
we're really focused on a smooth launch. we're putting out videos when we can!
Make sure to follow our beta testers! They are showing off a lot!
Love the video great information. I was wondering I really like you table for your 1f. Do you have a plan you could share?
You'll need to message two moose directly!
Does it come with limit switches ?
NO! We have stall detect technology. Check our or facebook page to see it in action.
Great little intro piece to the OneFinity machine. When will the video with the XCarve versus the OneFinity come out?
You'll have to follow Two Moose Design to find out!
Onefinity CNC - Got you! I just subscribed to the channel. Thanks, looking forward to it!
I would like to preorder one but duties shipping and taxes will make the price really high. Do you have any representative in Europe/Germany ?
we do not at this time.
Does it come with the router and touchscreen tablet?
comes with the tablet, does not come with a router.
Would be nice to see a large 3d carve.
More videos are on their way!
What size is your table?
You will need to direct your question to @twomoosedesign, the maker of this video.
What is the cost, I've looked but don't see anything.
Www.OnefinityCnc.com, ad it to you cart
..Could a spindle be integrated in the near future?
@myerswoodshop will be showing that off soon.
Can you use a Dewalt 611 router with this CNC? Sam Lewis
Our mount is a 65mm and the dewalt is a 68mm so it will not fit.
Thank you so much for your help!
Did you ever have a Shapeoko XXL?
They had a Xcarve before the Onefinity.

@@OnefinityCNC thanks
thats a shame:( i dont like how the xcarve software is. buy the machine pay to use it per year? i dont agree with. was on the fence about a onefinity or a shapeoko guess ill stick with a shapeoko thx for the video it helped
what part is a shame?
@@OnefinityCNC ok First i was debating between a x-carve or a shapeoko, Shapeoko won that debate on account of X-Carve's software. Then i run into this video (debating shapeoko or a onefinity) and you used X-carves software easle (what i faulted X-carve for). I dont mind paying for software. (I own simplify3d for my 3d printers) that i use but i am not signing on to a machine that requires a monthly subscription and they can keep that 4 cuts a month crap. (who going to spend $2000 on a machine and only use it 4x a month) The shame is using easle. TBH if you would have sown me software i can use with out the monthly price i would have bought a onefinity already
@@st0mper121 Two Moose Designs is coming from an xcarve, so they choose to use easel. Myers Woodshop is using Vetric Aspire (2k software) with his Onefinity. Arganic Woodwork uses Carbide Create. One of the points of showing each person is showcasing how anyone can use what they are comfortable with on the Onefinity. You can use almost any CAD software that creates gcode for the Onefinity, paid or free.
@@OnefinityCNC Thank you for the info. It helped A lot i did decide to jump on it but it already went out of stock. (must be good.)
Please give link 3d STL file and driver details
stl file for what? nothing was 3d printed.
