Imagine if all the metal heads in the world stopped fucking trashing every band that comes along that gets the slightest bit of recognition, and instead we supported them because hell, maybe they might not be your favorite band, but at least they are still fuckin metal and not the pop r&b bullshit the mainstream media shoves down all our throats. I like how with each release the vocalists develop more individual sounds. Before they released the Hacktivist EP I couldn't tell the difference between the two, now it's pretty clear.
i like it, cause i like rap and metal, and also cause it breaks one of the music industry racial stereotypes, which segregates whites to rock and blacks to rap music, but hacktivist shows that black guy can be in a rock band (ideally he should be singer not rapper), and that white and black guys can rap equally good. time for change in mainstream music media, especially TV.

I saw them live in France with Limp Bizkit the 9th of June and they were already playing this song as a "prototype" to see fans' reactions and I really loved it ! Since that day I was hardly waiting for the final version and wow... I'm not disappointed , it's even better than I thought it would be , AWESOME ! Hacktivist is definately in my favorite bands top 5.
I cant believe i just found these guys! holy shit ive been missing out! A lot of these new bands today do the heavy technical guitar thing but it gets to the point in a lot of them where it gets to technical and it loses u. This band I think has mastered that craft of making it technical while keeping it accessible and engaging. I need an album!

It's not horrible. I think I'd have to listen to it a few times, but there's a lot of bands I've had to listen to a few times and now they're some of my favorite.
People can hate as much as they'd like. I love this band, I love what they've put out so far, and I love this song. Looking forward to more from Hacktivist; that, and a US tour. Bring the beginning of change to America.
the other day i heard like 20 Hacktivist songs in a row. Later, the main riff of this song stuck in my head, but i couldn't remember the name of the song, so i started to hear them all again... so odd that i heard the start of this song and thought to myself "nah, the song didn't have a soft beginning like this" so i skipped it XD turns out it did have that soft beginning.
A tour with you and Volumes would work so well. Bring it to Australia if you do :)

I've been hyped for this song since the video of it being played live in Russia. It definitely delivered.
I like what these guys are doing. They use their music as a weapon, speaking out loud about all the crap in the government, in contrast to rapping about money, cars n prostitutes.
This band blows my fucking mind. I love every song and I NEVER thought I'd say that about a rap metal band.
Best band @ soundwave 2014 by far blew others off stage even if it was only 11.30am

This song is soooo fucking good, I love all their stuff and I even got to rock out on stage for their final song in Warrington and I was in total euphoria om stage with these guys, about 10 fans came up with me and we was singing niggas in paris all together to close out the show, mental!
Love Timfy James vocals, loved him with Heart of a Coward and saddened to acknowledge he is no longer with them.. this isn't too bad, bit different.. Rap mixed with metal
Nu-Djental. And for the people saying that guitars are too easy. Yes they are. But it still sounds groovy and driving. Most of nu-metal bands use really use easy composition
I think they should spend time making a full length album. It'd be the best thing that happened to the listeners. Their stuff is absolutely new and fresh. And true to their name. Hacktivist. And they're using Hacktivism to spread the truth.
A great band with a real groove to their music, that have written some very truthful and important raps about the state of the world! I saw them live last year and they are just electric, I hope they keep going for a long time!

The chorus isnt weak, it's the voice on the chorus that is a bit monotonous. I've heard way worse. Overall, don't like the intro riff, just too generic and expect more from Hacktivist, quite surprised by the chorus, liked it, and the repeat at 2:21 onward is pretty tight. They still have a good sound and I've listened to it 4 times in a row. So I guess it's pretty good

Why do I see no comments about what they are actually saying in the song? I mean, yeah, the song is pretty good, I like it (even though I'm by no means into rap) but the message is also important. After all, ultimately music serves the purpose of transmitting a message in a way that has a deeper impact and wider reach than just words. At least that's my humble opinion...

Everyone's acting like this band is the second coming of jesus or something. It's literally just nu metal with a "djent" (hate that fuckin' word) influence. This is literally Linkin Park if they were heavier. It's not bad I just don't see how it's so revolutionary.

It's not rap metal, I didn't say they invented it either. Nu metal has been around for decades. I also quite literally wrote that they sound like a heavier LP so not sure why you need to state they'll never be this heavy, that's common sense. But thanks for putting words in my mouth and making 0 points, that was cool.
