People ask yourself this...Why were the police there and If they were not at the wrong apartment there must be a reason for them being there...listen I have friends that dabble illegal activity but they are friends from afar, in passing, how you doing at the grocery store etc...if the police were investigating them I guarantee you they would find no reason to investigate me based on their surveillance on them...Now with that being said I’m not justifying the loss of her life because there’s definitely conflicting stories and this case should have gone to trial...I am saying try to consider all the factors and gather as much information as you can before influencing others who also don’t seek facts...

The only tragedy of that night was that Ms. Taylor was in the line of fire and was hit. She should have been in another room calling 911 if they thought the house was being robbed. Instead, Kenneth Walker the coward had her standing right next to him in the hallway even though he knew he was going to fire his gun. This entire incident was his fault. Plain and simple.

The police were shot at and returned fire, thats why they got off. If they had followed the no knock warrent, Breana s boyfriend wouldnt have had time get his gun and shoot at the cops.

The police knocked and gave lots of warning before making entry into the house and being fired on by the guy. The amount of ignorance, bias and stereotypes in this comment section really astounds me. Let me set a few things straight. Countless sources state that Breonna Taylor and her boyfriend were NOT drug dealers. Her ex-boyfriend was the one the police were looking into, and she had no part of it. He even confirmed that Taylor had no part of drug operations. The police suspected that her home was a spot for drug packages, but the postal offices revealed that no packages had been delivered to her house. Her boyfriend Kenneth Walker was not a drug dealer, but he was a law abiding citizen.
The officers did not announce themselves; several nearby neighbors also stated that they heard no announcement of police arrival. Walker had heard the noise of someone forcing themselves in the house, and he shot one warning shot. The officers took this as initiative to fire 32 rounds into the house, six of which killed Taylor, and could have potentially injured neighbors. The officers were in the wrong here, and they endangered more people than necessary for an investigation that did not need to happen.

Just saw 20/20 "Deep Dive of Taylor Case." I am, generally a supporter of law enforcement t. I believe law enforcement is justified, many times in being heavy handed. This absolutely was not one of them. The arrogance and lack of humanity exhibited in the walk thru of the apartment by a senior LPD official who can be heard sYing very offhand lyrics "She's done" as if he was talking about some item in the grill. Somebody's life needs to be destroyed over this. This was a horribly botched investigation/operation by an overconfident/overzealous police department. Our support of law enforcement is not unconditional. Law enforcement, in this country, is going to be reeducated, one event at a time. In other words, we can come at you just like you come at us. We can leave your families grieving

Police whole reason to go to her apartment was cause they believe that suspicious packages connected to her ex were gonna to there, but they were informed that there's nothing of interest going there. Yet they lied to a judge to get the warrant. They knocked & announced themselves only when they were outside but didn't was they busted in. They botched the operation and they know it. All reports and documents that police have they never call Breonna a criminal nor considered her a suspect.

There was never drugs in her house, nothing was ever sent there by mail ( which is what the police tried to say ). They came in and her boyfriend thought it might have been a robbery so he got his gun ( which was legal) took cover and shot once. One of the officers ran around to the back of the house and shot 10 rounds through a window that had blinds blocking his "target". That is how she was shot, by a officer going against his departments protocol and training. So no she was not used as a human shield not in the wrong place at the wrong time. She was the victim of blatant disregard for human life.
