I live a couple blocks from the Garcade! I haven't been there for awhile, and when I drove past today, I thought how I need to take my son there again soon. They keep everything well maintained and although I haven't had an extensive conversation with the owner, it's obvious he's passionate about the place. By the way, it's Menomonee FallS with an S, not Fall. :)
It's interesting that it's at a place with no foot traffic and away from the city. I imagine that most people that frequent this place are ones that grew up going to arcade and now live in the suburbs.
No Revolution X, Turtles In Time or Shinobi?... ...This place is awesome foreal. Was surprised with it ONCE as Bday Gift a couple yrs ago & I was in Kid mode. Flashbacks of all the hours & quarters spent. Checking floors & machines for lost coins to play. Frustrating to beat hard bosses & staring & demo screens pretending to play cuz I was out of quarters or just broke...🤣 The unlimited gameplay for the $15 is so worth it. I'm definitely coming back now that I just realized yesterday that I'm only 20min away. The best part is that my 15yr old at the time absolutely liked it too & she's not a gamer so to pass on that old school nastalgia is awesome.
RoboTron, Gyruss and Tournament CyberBall 2072 next to each other!?! I’m there! 🤩 T2, Operation Wolf, Maximum Force is Awesome! 😎 So many great 80s cabs! The Last Bronx?!? That game is so hard to find for my Sega Saturn! 🙄
