    Millineals can't relate to edgy comedy. Leno at his best on Late show appearances but not PC enough for todays dim generation. They would rather see Fallon play stupid home games with celebrities.

      Hey man. I'm sure that the new year to the next day or so, what do I have been in a while, and the rest. .I have been in a while, and the rest. I am a beautiful person. I am going through. The other side, but the best. The other side, but the best. The other hand, I am not a big difference between an email address in the world of you have received a call to action and a lot more to do. The only thing that you are looking to buy a new one. I'm a huge amount. ..it's not just for that matter. I'm a bit more about the same time, but I sure hope so.

    To those who still think the Letterman/Leno so called feud was real well think again. If you really know who the players, you soon discover the debacle was concocted via a media firm for ( NBC ) in NYC to see how they could keep the Tonight Show number one and Keep the Late Show in NYC. Remember Dave has only been a late show host in NYC. He was firmly committed to NYC, his estate in upstate NY and other issues never brought out with his affairs. Holly Hester was his secret on and off again girl friend at the time. Which has only been revealed after the Stephanie Birkitt and blackmail scheme got loose. Dave an Jay and all their friends from the mid seventies have been gainfully employed by both parties. The two friends dominated the East and West coast late nights for two decades earning hundreds of millions of dollars for the networks. The advent of the internet was the beginning of the end and time for both of them to retire which they have since done. What started off as a chance meeting back in the 70's at the Comedy Store on Sunset became of massive success for Dave and Jay and all the staffers, writers, actors and millions of people to enjoy.

      No you're an Idiot. Letterman and Leno really do have bad blood. a Publicity stunt doesn't last 20 years. Watch Letterman's interview with Conan after he also lost The Tonight Show to Leno.

    Most comedians slide seamlessly into their bits. Leno is so ham-handed it's pitiful.

    Leno was still going through puberty with that voice. It's still high, but not quite as annoying as this.

    Leno was kind of funny back then but he has always been the same bully kind brat who brags about himself... Dave on the other hand has been always humble.

      Majik0715 I remember in '90 when Dave had Kalter repeat some word over and over, and you could see Kalter getting angry over it but playing along. He talked over and mocked guests numerous times, Dave could be an arrogant prick.

    • @RollingOrmond
      @RollingOrmond 8 лет назад +1

      Majik0715 No, he was just an asshole (and a host should definitely be rude to guests instead of making them feel at home lol).

    • @RollingOrmond
      @RollingOrmond 8 лет назад +1

      Majik0715 You confuse being polite with kissing ass. Try it sometime; a world of difference :)

    • @RollingOrmond
      @RollingOrmond 8 лет назад +1

      Majik0715 And just tell a funnier, more professional set of jokes then laugh at inside-jokes that no one gets, whistle through your teeth, mutter, and all the other 'edgy' things Dave did to kill time and make him a permanent #2 in the ratings.

    For those of you who prefer Leno to Letterman, be reminded that it was Dave who raised Leno........ Booyah!
    It's like preferring Skynyrd over the Allman Brothers or saying that Tubby Smith or Billy Donovan is a better coach than Rick Pitino..........
    Certainly there are examples that prove otherwise....but in most cases, ya go with the teacher over the pupil. It's pretty much foolproof.
    Hate to see Dave retire, but he's earned his stripes. Dave is the man!

    • @christianfinkbeiner6417
      @christianfinkbeiner6417 9 лет назад +6

      Uhh, kinda the opposite. Leno was doing stand-up in LA when Dave was still doing weather in Indiana. Letterman has repeatedly said that Leno is the funniest guy he ever met, and the best-stand-up he ever saw. They're both great, but unfortunately Leno is known mostly for The Tonight Show, where he purposely toned down his act to appeal to a wider audience. His stand-up back in the day was funny as hell. But in no way did Letterman "raise" Leno.
