The hope is that the rest of Sub Saharan Africa realize they can live in harmony with their mineral wealth and allow those minerals to help their economies. Yes it took Botswana a long time to do this and that, but that also serves as education for the rest of Africa. Yes the man running this factory is of Indian origin, again another lesson, probably the person who saw the skill in him is of Indian origin too. It’s there it happens.

Please only feature motswana entrepreneurs or real Afrikans in Botswana moving forward. Notice that Indian guy mentioned that they have been there 6 generations....im certain he has more connections to india than Botswana and im sure his wife or no one in his family has married a Motswana. The man who gave him a start in the industry is also Indian...that is how they operate in their community, they look out for themselves. I hope we black people can learn some lessons from this.

@Jerry, the ground beneath our feet is blessed not by us we didn't put them there, the creator did. We contributed nothing. We are Africans I agree but not powerful, we are hapless and weak. Had we been powerful, nobody would have carted off our people into slavery and moreover nobody would have colonised us. We are not powerful. The abject poverty and total dependency on others that you see in Africa today cements that weakness. Until we change our mentality, invest in ourselves, become a morally upright people, then we can start to become powerful.
