Hello Tayo there are no secrete diamond companies in Botswana, these companies are known to the citizens, but the only problem is there are inaccessible to the ordinary man in the streets because they are well protected. Am sure you experienced the security checks yourself. You will never hear there was a robbery or hijacking or heist of diamonds because they are well protected.
You mean synthetic? This is why Botswana needs to diversify the country's income away from diamonds so this isn't a threat. Just look at Russia and Arabia, they're not just diamonds and oil anymore even though we know them for that but they have used their money from these things to become even bigger and better and shining in tne global stage.
Sir Serethe Khama set the foundation for how leadership should be in Africa. He set the country in a path to greatness. He does not get allot of mention because of the Size of the Country. Tayo Aina - Good job and thank you for visiting Botswana. The hope is that the rest of Sub Saharan Africa realize they can live in harmony with their mineral wealth and allow those minerals to help their economies.
