Absolutely astonishing winds from Hurricane Sally in the Northeast quadrant of the eyewall (strongest area). Wind gusts that likely exceed 130mph at times. Shots of winds blowing, a gas station awning that is shaking from the wind. Shots from the dash cam showing the perspective looking out the front windshield. NATS of howling wind and small debris hitting the car. A piece of sheet metal blown into the front end of the car.
That's amazing and terrifying at the same time!

What surprises me is that none of that footage showed Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel leaning into that wind as he is pelted with rain and debris. Can't imagine that anyone's personal insurance coverage includes this kind of nonsense.

@@marrallo Yeah ever heard of post analysis. Obviously it doesn't strengthen on land. I'm not that stupid. Just by looking at the footage the winds are well above cat 2 and the damage says that as well.
@@shawnmichael2305 I'm sure they will. They need to upgrade Hannah earlier in the season in Texas as well. Hannah should be a 2 and Sally will likely be a 3. Sally has supporting data to be a 3 in post.

Coastal areas, should be required to build industrial signs and poles that can be folded down with about an hour of labor. Pensacola obviously needs to be built 3 feet higher than it
currently sits. The same can be said for nearly every coastal town in the Gulf of Mexico.

Different car but same exact damage that I took in Hurricane Harvey and Laura. The bumper clips are broke and the lightbar rack on the front is bent. I wont even get it fixed let alone file a claim. For some reason my cars don't last very long. lol
