If you're a Dutch or German person, and you can't point out at least 5 ways to open up a beer bottle. You're not part of our culture. Even the ones who don't drink (all power to you) know how to do this.
As a dutch guy, we used to have this game that you get a closed beer when you were 15. And if you could open it you could drink it. But you only had 3 attempts, if failed wait untill the next time you get a closed beer.
So true . every pimply faced high schooler knows how to do this I know I was one of them why would you put this on social media in 2023 you are the new 40 year old virgin congratulations- IDIOT
My favourite moment of beer opening has been my mate saying “nah I got it” pulls out his new phone and does this and all we hear is the crunch of his screen breaking 😂😂😂
Do it with the thin side because it wont snap as easily. Then you could also just hold the beer by the neck and use your thumb as leverage if you do it often anough you'll be able to shoot the caps.
I learned this when I was 13 or 14 yrs old.. 1st time I drank beer.. back then, who ever had the most party tricks was the coolest dude at the session..
You can also use this technique to shoot bottle caps off if you hold the bottleneck nice and tight instead of covering the top, use the crease of your thumb as a point of leverage and POP!
I pause this video like halfway through but I'm glad someone understands the concept that you're just making a lever lol ARGUING can open a beer, kinda
You are holding it weird but a lighter is the most normal way to open a beer. But you can use almost anything . A knife, spoon, a table (if its a table you dont care about) a beer case, an other bottle , a a4 sized note, a smale axe , srewdriver , socket wrenc
I learned to open a beer with another and then open the second one with the bottle cap of the opened beer. No extra tools needed. Just beer. It's also not dangerous like opening a beer with your teeth or the neck of another opened beer.
Don’t complicate it, just grab the top with one hand and make sure your thumb wraps around the bottle cap with a good half inch gap, like finger around a gun trigger before u squeeze. Out the end of lighter between the space of bottle cap and thumb, squeeze thumb like a your pointer finger is squeezing a gun trigger and then pry the lighter downwards thus popping up the bottle cap. 😊
My dad taught me to do this when I was 7 years old, then when his friends came over they would just say beer me and I’d grab them a beer and pop it open, I thought it was cool at the time but now looking back at it I was just a little servant for him and his friends hahaha
I’ll be honest, I use the table or the door lock in the frame of the doorways. Literally looks like a bottle opener, check it out. Literally every building
I do this a different way but essentially the same thing.. I use my thumb in pointer finger and wrap it around right above the bottle cap and then bend the first part of my pointer finger up against the neck like a little triangle. Then I put a lighter on top of that and under the lip of the cap
Opened a gazillions beers with an untold amount of objects in the last 20 odd years basically shunning bottle openers because they’re really not required!
Known this and opened bottles with tandom objects for years, dont dri k anymore but ince in a while someone who does still gives me the oppotunity, their confusion over whatever I grab is always pleasing..
All I've got is this hand grenade...

My father taught my this when I was 10 years old and I will do the same with my son and he will do it with his son
In Germany you learn this when you’re twelve.
Though I use a slightly different technique... which still works perfectly fine.
12 monaten ja
In all european countries
Yeah, in Germany, they get drunk with 12.
It's true 😂
It's also not talked about at all.

As Mexican ik more than five and you can actually open it with another beer bottle

@@Danny-wq5om Aaahh yes. When we were allowed to drink at 16 still. Good times.
It's all fun and games until you pick up a cheap 50p corner shop lighter and the plastic shatters sending liquid butane everywhere.
Yeah, I've broken a couple of things doing this, I wouldn't use a lighter.
Ehh it'll evaporate soon enough just stay away from fire for a minute or such
Nah that’s called a skill issue 😂😂😂
You can always pop the top with another unopened beer bottle.
if your careful it will be fine
kids in europe learn this when they’re 10
Had a Mexican teach me how to do this with a seat belt 😂
Seat belts an oldschool one.
The part the door locks into works perfectly, little metal squad on your left when you open your door..
A drum stick also works!
Who didn't learn this is high school? 😂
facts. my uncles taught me when I was 11 so I could impress their buddies 😂😂. they even taught me how to snap the caps for the cool finish.
I can open a beer with a piece of paper
So true . every pimply faced high schooler knows how to do this I know I was one of them why would you put this on social media in 2023 you are the new 40 year old virgin congratulations- IDIOT
And just like that, I became an alcoholic 🤣
*German
If that’s all it took, then it was going to happen regardless of how you open your beer🤷🏻♂️
You cut out Grant yelling "Stop opening all our beers!"
I use my seatbelts when I open nontwist glass soda. Even though I have a multi-purpose tool in my wallet with a bottle opener.
Wait a minute... 😂
Hold on....
"Sodas"
@OrinFinch legit sodas. I don't drink since alcoholism runs in my family, so I avoid it. A glass coke is still the best👌
DUDE I NEVER THOUGHT OF USING THE SEATBELTS thank you that’s awesome lol
As a latino, i have used just about anything i can get my hands on to open a beer cap this way.
I love Mexican dad science class 😂
🇲🇽 neta 💯
I learned this at 11 years of age and this dude half way through his life 🤯
My favourite moment of beer opening has been my mate saying “nah I got it” pulls out his new phone and does this and all we hear is the crunch of his screen breaking 😂😂😂
One of my friends uses his phone all the time and I'm so concerned every time but till now it only damaged the case

Haven’t used a bottle opener in 5 years, seeing how long I can keep my streak using random objects
the title should be “alcoholic tips on opening a beer”
Lol the band aid. 😂😂😂😂
That's face at the end 😂 "it's so easy!"

"Explain it to me like im 5...... Now explain it to me like im 2"
First ever sticktool system humans invented
Use your thumb not the index finger! Lmao get it right “pain is gain “ LMFAO
I didn't think this needed an explanation.
Every German kid learns to open these pop bottles with everything in elementary school
Is the guy hes talking to really that clueless? HAHA
Not how I do it. Why cover the cap, that just looks awkward when you can do it by holding the beer normally?
✅
Spaten Oktoberfest is fucking awesome
I’ve had to open beers with scissors so many times since quitting smoking. Lol
Bro kinda off topic but how and how long ago did u quit smoking? Tryna get off it

Now they have like a dozen beers to drink lol
THe best kind of video: the one where theres beers for the entire crew after.
Someone is going to have to drink those beers.
They gotta drink a lot of beers now 😂
I love the bandaid on the knuckles from the failed attempts 😂
Really useful, now i dont have to unbuckle my seat belt
One time I started opening beers with a CD
@o_ToRTuRe_o you just grab a CD and slide it on the bottle hitting the cap like using a sword to open champagne
Reminds me of me and my friend who can only open a beer with a bottle opener. To him I'm like a beer opening god lol
Reminds me of the time my Uncle showed me how to open a beer with a single page from a Newspaper by folding it to be rigid enough to be the lever.
Former alcoholic, every single safety belt is a bottle opener 😂
Can't believe you taught him to cover the top with his palm. The best bit it being able to fire the caps across the room as you do it
"Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world. ”

You can also use this technique to shoot bottle caps off if you hold the bottleneck nice and tight instead of covering the top, use the crease of your thumb as a point of leverage and POP!
When a "wine guy" goes to tailgate with beer drinkers
This is my teenage life back in the early 2000s

welcome to germany. we learn this in kindergarden.

As a pot head who also enjoys drinking. This is one of my favorite tricks. People are impressed when you can open a bottle with anything.
Does it work without a table? also works with a tight grip below the cap and pry off your index finger using it as a fulcrum.
I see you with that Pebble Time Steel Watch.👌
You are holding it weird but a lighter is the most normal way to open a beer. But you can use almost anything .
A knife, spoon, a table (if its a table you dont care about) a beer case, an other bottle , a a4 sized note, a smale axe , srewdriver , socket wrenc
Yes! Spaten oktoberfest, my favorite beer!
I learned this 30 years ago. The only way to open a beer.
Till the liter explodes 😂
I learned to open a beer with another and then open the second one with the bottle cap of the opened beer.
No extra tools needed. Just beer.
It's also not dangerous like opening a beer with your teeth or the neck of another opened beer.
This is what you learn at high school parties 😅
Then there’s the dude who walks up and goes “watch this” and proceeds to break his girlfriends iPhone trying to open the beer
Don't use a cheap lighter, trust me, they're not thick enough and will explode.
I figured this out intuitively
I needed this a couple of days ago, I am gonna remember this one
This is some genius at Work he figured out how to open a beer with a lighter man that's incredible😂
Fulcrum come innnn yahhhhhhhh
This. This is a game changer.
Whoa whoa whoa... dont be handing out those secrets... some of us went into crippling debt in college to learn these things!
Fulcrum, COME IN
Awesome! I am going to go practice this six times…
Can’t forget the ring trick either
If that scizor part isn't edited thats fast as fk Lmao
I used to do it on my sunroof rail in the driveway. Good times chilling at my crib late at night.
Don’t complicate it, just grab the top with one hand and make sure your thumb wraps around the bottle cap with a good half inch gap, like finger around a gun trigger before u squeeze. That's the Australian way
My dad taught me to do this when I was 7 years old, then when his friends came over they would just say beer me and I’d grab them a beer and pop it open, I thought it was cool at the time but now looking back at it I was just a little servant for him and his friends hahaha
Finally someone explained it perfectly🎉, every one just says "do it like this" but you can't really see what they did.😂
I just open with my teeth. No equipment needed
Oh my god opening a beer with a lighter i've never seen that before😂
I’ll be honest, I use the table or the door lock in the frame of the doorways. Literally looks like a bottle opener, check it out. Literally every building
finally the right way.. no more gouging chunks outta my fingers!
I open my beers with other beers
You can always open a bottle with another unopened bottle.
It bugs me when people think they need bottle openers, which a lot of are actually less useful.
Ive used my teeth for 20 years. No cracks. Barely takes any forces
Good beer choice
A fundamental lack of understand of basic machines is why people are confounded at how the Egyptians built the pyramids.
I use a reverse lever action open usually
Holy shit my dude has a pebble watch! Nice!
I do this a different way but essentially the same thing.. I use my thumb in pointer finger and wrap it around right above the bottle cap and then bend the first part of my pointer finger up against the neck like a little triangle. Then I put a lighter on top of that and under the lip of the cap
These guys are masters of craft and sneakery but never figured out how to open a bottle lol
Wait until someone shows him the better way to do it
It’s way more fun to let the cap have room to fly up when you pop the bottle, you can have a competition to see who can get the biggest pop
Only to find its a screw-top....
Rings work too.
Good beer choice. German approved
I have a scrench only and had to google this lol!!
