For that, maybe Grover's dad would put Scut in a mental hospital realizing Ralphie was defending himself. Plus, I'm sure from 0:14-0:28, Ralphie was at wits end thinking to himself "I don't know about Flick and Schwartz but I'm getting sick and tired of being chased to and from school by Scut and Grover." @@afriendofbean I think they got it pretty good in the movie when he finally sits up after his pummeling with blood on his face, sniffling his nose from all of that painful crying. It’s the only time in the movie where we see him without that raccoon skin hat and crazily laughing. Ralphie literally beat the bully out of him.
0:31 Always loved the attention they gave to Grover Dill in this scene. He’s obviously never seen Scut Farkus in a position like the ass-kicking he’s rightfully deserving. Classic bully move that they don’t count on their tormented to fight back and he’s visibly shocked. 0:38 Dill is so disturbed that he worriedly tries to stop the pummeling that Ralphie is giving but quickly finds out that it’s best to stay away from this situation as he cowardly runs away after he gets smacked away, fleeing with an empty threat of telling his dad, who likely beats him the same way.
@TW38824 I have always wondered about that too if Grover was going to get his dad to stop the fight or if he was going to tell his dad that Ralphie punched him (where I guess his dad would say, "Grover, if you and Scut never bullied Ralphie and his friends from the beginning, maybe Ralphie wouldn't of punched you). Or, someone else said that maybe Grover's dad was a cop and would arrange for Ralphie to be put away in an orphanage for attacking physically causing Ralphie's parents to lose custody over him.
@@afriendofbean It was just an empty threat. I heard that same line from my bullies, who likely would have been beaten harder than they already were if their parents found out what they were doing to others. Bullying is a power dynamic that kids like to act out as they learn from their abusive parents. Sadly, it usually takes a beating like this from their victims to get them to stop acting that way.
@@kamdan2011 I guess Grover only said that he was telling his dad out of scaredness since he wanted to tell someone that he got punched and probably got scared that Ralphie started attacking physically very suddenly when probably Scut and Grover thought that Ralphie, Randy, Flick, and Schwartz have been cowards the whole time.
That Kenny Rogers song may have a good moral to it, but frankly, in my personal opinion, "turning the other cheek" sometimes is just not good enough(not that I'd beat a bully or enemy up NOW, as I'm grown up), but what I mean is, sometimes you really do have to give an enemy or tormentor an appropriate requital for an insult,e.g., like if they really have offended you beyond endurance, say. One can only take so much abuse, be pushed only so far, just like what is shown here when Scott Farcus gets his comeuppance from Ralphie. I'm guessing that Scott is probably supposed to be eleven, and in sixth gradeif he and Ralphie go to the same school and Ralphie is nine and in fourth grade. And maybe Grover is supposed to actually be younger than Ralphie, even(OK, even if he is capable of cowing Ralpie and Ralphie's two pals), still, children who are not exactly the tough type can even get bullied by younger kids as well as kids their own age and older. So good to see Scott reduced to tears himself and a bloody nose, and even bareheaded in cold December weather(he lost his hat as Ralphie was beating him up.) His and Grover's "snowball sandwich" to Ralphie really was the last straw.
@@MrJamieMurph4141969 Well, that's actually the whole thing with the song. Tommy, the main character in it constantly walks away from trouble because of a promise he made to his dying father. But when the 3 Gatlin brothers rape Becky, his love, it's the last straw and he's pushed too far, and he makes them pay for it. At the end of the song it even says, ''Sometimes you gotta fight when you're a man.'' The message being, if you can walk away from a fight you probably should, but sometimes you have to take a stand too. As for Scut Farkus and Grover Dill, I always got the impression Grover was the same age as Ralphie and his friends, kinda like he's the bully of their grade, and Scut is about 2 or 3 years older. Also got the impression that they don't necessarily go to school. They most likely tell their parents they're going, and then cut. Either way, yeah, Farkus got what he deserved. Dill got lucky and got off easy with just one shot to the chest, but yeah Farkus was definitely taught a lesson he wouldn't forget. If you notice too, when Ralphie is pounding him, all the other kids are happy and cheering Ralphie on, because they probably have been menaced by Scut and Grover as well.
•0:43-Ralphie: “Exit the area, Grover! Or else you’ll be next!!” •Scut’s mock-crying turned into real crying. •0:26-Ralphie: “Alright, that does it Scut! Your mom is coming, and if you get caught doing this, serious trouble!”
1:23 - Ralphie as an Adult: [narrating] - “I have since heard of people under extreme duress speaking in strange tongues. I became conscious that a steady torrent of obscenities and swearing of all kinds was pouring out of me as I screamed.”

+Khoa Ha I'm sure it did and I'm sure Scut has a broken nose because (the rest of the fight was cut out), after the mother stopped the fight, it showed Scut with a bloody nose.
The thing I had always wondered about this scene is if he was hitting the bully in the face or if he was hitting him in the chest but the gloves came as a back up and were swinging him in the face
Must be mind problems, I guess Grover dill saying “hey!” Was supposed to be before the scene at 0:33 but maybe the editors forgot and put the scene before 0:38, that’s just my guess though.
Andy Dalton of the Cincinnati Bengals, in his post-defeat presser(They lost to Houston, 10-6, on the recent MNF game), looks like Scut after getting owned by Ralphie.
So let's see? he gets punished by accidentally cursing on the road, He finds out that his secret code was a dumb commercial message, He gets a C+ after telling his teacher what he wants for christmas that was important to him and in the end gets the "You'll shoot your eye out" Quote. after trying his best to go through many obstacles to make his wish happen it bite him right back and now bullies never leave him alone, after all that he couldn't take it anymore and this was the time to let out everything that messed up his days.
This is something bullies need to take into account when they’re fucking around with people. They have no idea what they’re going through and they may be the last straw for them.
When I was a little kid and saw this movie the first time. This is how I learned how to deal with bullies. Take your rage out on them and they won’t dare fuck with you again LMAO. The best part was after this scene Ralphies Dad shook it off that he beat up a kid that was bullying him like he heard about today’s weather🤣🤣🤣.

I'm glad Ralphie's mom wasn't mad at him and he didn't get in trouble. His mom was just worried about him beating up a bully even though the bully deserved it.
There are two things Scut Farkus wants for Christmas: A) Not to get on Ralphie's bad side ever again. B) Not to mess with Ralphie or anyone else - or we'll give him something even worse than what we just saw - calling out the Dog Squad [yes, the Bumpus hounds] to chase after him, day in and day out, until he cries uncle, like he made Flick and Schwartz do. That ought to learn him.
@@TheHatGuy1500 Yes, I can only hope both Scut and Grover stopped being bullies after this and decided not to wait for Ralphie, Randy, Flick, and Schwartz to pass by everyday going to and from school (it always showed a fast-paced scene of them getting chased). I know after this scene was when Ralphie, Randy, Flick, and Schwartz started their Christmas holiday, and it only makes me wonder if after the holiday if Scut and Grover would be waiting for them somewhere. Otherwise, after this scene it would have been great if it showed a scene of Scut again wearing a nose cast apologizing to Ralphie for all his bullying and promises he won't do it anymore and he at least thanks Ralphie for beating him up saying that he needed a wakeup call. (I guess one reason Scut wasn't on the second film was because he probably got sent to jail for his bullying or he moved out of the neighborhood since in this scene he looks like a boy attending college).
my problem was I never ran into bullies outside of school. I was verbally taunted over physically which in some ways was worse. Only once did I tick a bully off enough to make a fight break out. That made it worse because bullies knew they could verbally taunt me.
Or (Wimpy kid) Greg to his bossy bully of a big brother Rodrick, in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. Like he does to him in fact in “Rodrick Rules,” and in CHURCH at that, for humiliating Greg beyond endurance(and IN PUBLIC besides, in front of the whole congregation, laughing himself sick and silly at his little brother’s embarrassment.) Yes, Greg too should have gone for the jugular, by giving his bully of a big brother just what he too deserved for that-A BLOODY NOSE. Not to mention the fact that like Buzz getting off scot free with doing what he did to Kevin in home alone, likewise Rodrick always got off scot free with his sly ninja fox tricks on Greg.

My theory is that his dad is a cop or something like that and would threaten to take Ralphie to juvie but idk
"20 years of crawlin' were bottled up inside him..."
"He wasn't holdin' nothin' back, he let 'em have it all..."
@XD GAMER What's pretty sad? They're just lyrics to a song called, ''Coward of The County" by Kenny Rogers.
0:03 me to anime girls at 3 am
Look at the kid with the father figure beating up the kid without a father figure. HA! That's funny.
We all been there where holding back was not an option anymore.
Never mess with someone that doesn't retaliate, your gonna get what was coming for ya!
Scut cries like a little girl.
Ik
@Samuel Russo I know Scott Farkas is the baby
He’s the weak one while Ralph was the strong one
All bullies do when they ultimately get bested.
•0:43-Ralphie: “Exit the area, Grover! Or else you’ll be next!!”
•Scut’s mock-crying turned into real crying.
•0:26-Ralphie: “Alright, that does it Scut! You asked for it!!” and/or “That does it Scut! We are no longer going to take your abuse!”
•1:10-What exactly was Ralphie saying there?
•1:38-“Stop! Your mom is coming, and if you get caught doing this, serious trouble!”
At 1:10 is standard Yosemite Sam-style cursing like the Old Man uses when battling the furnace.
1:23 - Ralphie as an Adult: [narrating] - “I have since heard of people under extreme duress speaking in strange tongues. I became conscious that a steady torrent of obscenities and swearing of all kinds was pouring out of me as I screamed.”
Boy that takes me back to when I was in elementary school and got picked on for being short. Wearing glasses and just being human I guess. Man those were the days
I really like how Ralph’s mom came to Skutts help and saw on own right happened
Ummm, what?
The force is strong in this one.
0:28 when the ninja turtle Michelangelo finally stands up to Raphael!
He had enough of being bullied and good thing he fought back
1:09 Ralphie Says “You Dorky, No-Good, Damn Nothing! Dadgum Stinking Bitch!”
...and that's how you take care of a bully!!!
Michael Weigel you
Michael Weigel I
+Khoa Ha I'm sure it did and I'm sure Scut has a broken nose because (the rest of the fight was cut out), after the mother stopped the fight, it showed Scut with a bloody nose.
Back in the day when fighting was necessary to stand up for yourself. Now we're just taught "don't fight, it's not worth it" lol
@@kyloren1089 i liked back in the day better.
This scene traumatized me when I was a kid
Yeah-There is something haunting about Scut Farkus bawling, as he is getting pounded.
If it traumatized you enough to never pick on anyone then this was a job well done.
My son's having bully issues... I reminded him of this movie, which we have watched before.
The thing I had always wondered about this scene is if he was hitting the bully in the face or if he was hitting him in the chest but the gloves came as a back up and were swinging him in the face
So then Grover Dil probably was thinking "Hey now you aren't supposed to beat up Scut. No no Scut was really just supposed to beat up you".
True 🤣😂
I like how Ralphie gets angry at the end the mom picks him up but he still tries to fight
He showed no mercy !! 😂😂💯💯
I’m glad Ralphie got courage now.
He’s now popular in school for beating up the bully that bullied all kids even to Grover
If you notice at 0:33 Scott’s nose was bleeding in one shot but at 0:38 his nose wasn’t bleeding yet.
ay, good view
Must be mind problems, I guess Grover dill saying “hey!” Was supposed to be before the scene at 0:33 but maybe the editors forgot and put the scene before 0:38, that’s just my guess though.
no mercy
I'm a tsundere
0:26 best scene
Ralphie will not define who he is anymore.
Holy Smokes.
Farkus = Brock Lesnar as a child 😂
0:27 Darth Vader to Ralphie: Now release your anger!
Get SECURITY PLEASE
In The End,Farkus Totally Deserved That!!!
TBS, if you stop airing this every Christmas
*_-I'M COMIN' FOR YOU-_* ☠
This why he got his Red Ryder BB Gun he beat that bully down
Andy Dalton of the Cincinnati Bengals, in his post-defeat presser(They lost to Houston, 10-6, on the recent MNF game), looks like Scut after getting owned by Ralphie.
Your fucking dumb. That's not Andy dalton. That's Zack Ward
Brandon Versace I said he LOOKS like the dude in here! Is reading comprehension not your strong suit?
I got very emotional because being bullied causes a lot of kids to commit suicide or any crimes.
Thanks and happy Thanksgiving.
After a few crappy days he could not take it and took his rage to the bully
This is something bullies need to take into account when they’re fucking around with people. They have no idea what they’re going through and they may be the last straw for them.
GET HIM RALPHIE! KICK HIS ASS!!!!!!
2013venjix *i will kick your ass!*
Scut Farkus that must've hurt huh hahah who's crying now
RALPHIE,KICK HIM IN HIS CHEEZ DOODLE NUTZ!!!
Simple, Scut Farkus. He got what he deserved. A bloody nose, a bloody face and a set of tears and sniffles. Sounds to me he isn't so tough after all.
(Ralphie) An enemy has been slain! (Bully)
0:28- DING! DING! DING!
"Listen jerk, when I tell you to come you better come." OK...wow.
orderof9able YOU STUPID !
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Since Scut got his ass kicked, he should think twice before he bullies another kid again. I also pray that he doesn't treat his future wife like that
When I was a little kid and saw this movie the first time. This is how I learned how to deal with bullies. Take your rage out on them and they won’t dare fuck with you again LMAO. The best part was after this scene Ralphies Dad shook it off that he beat up a kid that was bullying him like he heard about today’s weather🤣🤣🤣.
00:27 Alright I've had a bad enough day, this ends now.
We GOT A FIGHT GOING ON HERE
0:28 My reaction that if Rosalie Chiang, Emma Berman, Ava Morse, Hyein Park, Hadley Belle Miller, Mariel Sheets, Noah Johnston, Venus Schulthesis, Rebecca Bloom, Anastasia Bredikhina, Francesca Capaldi, Kaitlyn Dias, and Kensington Tallman making more TV shows and more movies or not!
fine way to teach a bully a lesson
0:37 you can hear Scut crying for his mommy 😂😂😂
0:29 I BELIVE I CAN FLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
I bet after this Scott had to go to years of therapy for having nightmares about ralphie and also severe ptsd every time he saw him
Bro this scene gets me so frickin pumped!!🔥🔥
Ralphie's dad probably would not have punished him, but he would have violently pulled them apart, and demanded to know what was going on.
Ladies and Gentlemen we have a winner...... JOHN CINA
My favorite movie
It’s just not Christmas until Ralphie beats up Scut Farkis

you dumb😒❗
Watch your mouth, amigo.
That’s what the kids said
Get HIM
I legit felt alittle bit bad for scut the way he screamed and cried but then i think of how horrible of a bully he was. He had it long time coming
00:00-0:04 how I talk to my gf in the sheets
I’ll bet Scut was punished by his Parents after that
best part of the movie
Savage Raphie
I'm glad Ralphie's mom wasn't mad at him and he didn't get in trouble. His mom was just worried about him beating up a bully even though the bully deserved it.
You know that feeling when you black out in an all out rage
flick is great
Ralphie le dio una lección a Farkus de no abusar de los demás. Hasta Ralphie lo golpeó a un chico más grande que el que parece de 7mo grado.
go ralphie
There are two things Scut Farkus wants for Christmas:
A) Not to get on Ralphie's bad side ever again.
+Shuo Yang Hopefully after Scut Farkus got a broken nose here, he learned his lesson not to be a bully anymore.
@@afriendofbean he turns into a nice guy from now on in his future
He looks like my two big brothers combined together
I’ll bet Ralphie was the first kid to ever stand up to that little shit!
The OG “beast mode.”
Bully was mocking Ralphie for crying. Well at the end the bully ended up crying for real.
The bully messed with the wrong kid that day.
A brand new Christmas Story movie is coming in a few days to HBO Max a lot of the original cast are reprising their roles
Looks like east Toronto , with the old street cars in the yard, in the background.
Revenge of Ralphie.
my problem was I never ran into bullies outside of school. I was verbally taunted over physically which in some ways was worse. Only once did I tick a bully off enough to make a fight break out. That made it worse because bullies knew they could verbally taunt me.
Ralphie didn't just whip scut, he whoop his ass.
I wish Kevin did this to buzz in home alone
Dang, Ralphie took on two guys! Did you see the full mount on Farkus??
