Found you a couple weeks ago. Watched over 20 hrs of your videos.... still watching... you are a priceless gem. Energy is contagious and your ideas are priceless. Thanks coach!!
Honestly i get more of a thrill just watching us execute. When the tempo is executed the right way with all the versions, changeups, and sequences it is beautiful.
If your offense is tempo your defense will be tempo. Defense is not drastically different. We use the waggle for the opponent specific assignment and the "check" with a number, to shift from 3:3 stack, 4:3, etc. And blitz with out of one word, which is varies based on waggle. Practice is key.
I wouldn't say your defense is Tempo, but should be able to handle Tempo better because you see it everyday. It's like saying Flexbone teams should defend the option better because they see it everyday.

Thank You
As always, awesome stuff coach!
Thanks
Another great video. I have had a lot of success with 2 play calls instead of 3.
Sequences?
Thomas MacPherson yes one word 2 plays. Just seems to work better for me. Great video thanks again.
Hell of a vid coach 💪🏾
Thanks
Coach Mac how much of a thrill do you get when you see the opposition tapping out for a sub?

One Word Calls for Defense...defend Tempo teams.?
That's basically how we teach our defense from day 1
I was interested in thoughts/ ideas in the forming a One Word Call Defensive system versus tempo/ spread attacks
