Mid Carbon. .65% carbon means it will be very tough and easy to sharpen. 1095 has about 1% carbon and is very low in toughness at the same hardness but will keep a edge slightly longer on abrasives like cardboard, rope etc. On none abrasives like wood toughness is more important because blunting is caused by micro damage not wear.
I need a Kukri at some point. I think this looks like a good start but I might be willing to spend a bit more and get something with better steel and full tang.
Seems more of a Machete to me then a Knife 🗡️🔪 But I does appear to be one good tough carbon steel blade and CRKT did a good job manufacturing the Kuk Kukri.
I have yet to find a reason to buy knives. I have one, and use it a few times a week. Yup, a week. How does one justify owning $200/300 dollar folding knives? For what? So no, I don’t need any knife reviews, but you should do them if you want to. I’ll never own this knife, and instead will save up for a new 1911 or wheel gun for the range. Thanks!
Thanks for the constructive comment man! Seriously I appreciate it, it appears you are not alone with that thought considering the view count on this video lol so further stuff like this will be on the B channel. Thanks for watching!
Why do you prefer American made products? China produces far better quality products than America, after all they have more extensive experience in manufacturing than any other nation on earth. This idea that China produces shoddy quality is an old issue, it's not the reality on the ground anymore and hasn't been for a long long time. That's not to say there can't be poor quality products coming from China, of course there can be, but the same can be said for American made products. American exceptionalism isn't a reliable method for finding truth.

LOL I feel like you kept emphasizing the word "KUK" ... "it's definitely not the other word! Hear me say it again!"

I completely agree!
Get a Top Knives "El Chete" by Joe Espinosa out of Idaho. It's pricey, but its unbelievable. You will not regret it...
I will have to check that out thanks for the recommendation man!
I got this kukri, haha took it camping and it over performed!
Nice! I am still using mine to process wood and I have to say this thing continues to be a beast for me
I wonder how people feel about this knife in Sweden. XD

Gov Wolf sucks! Checking in from the red zone here in Monroe county in NEPA.
Keep up the great work.
