This is the quality kind of context I subscribed for. It’s like window shopping with even less commitment.
0:01 Hey that's my favorite homeless person that tells me how to spend my money.
BUY GOLD
@@WulffDen yes
Hello,
I'm sorry I did not understand your question. Thank you very much.
u sir deserve gold
fastandfilthy are u talking about reddit?
I might have to save my money for a bit tho since Nintendo might release mario games for $60 a pop... Gotta love Nintendo!
Will 64, sunshine and galaxy be 60 Dollars?
I really want them on my switch, especially 64, but I won't buy them for 60 Dollars
Hambu 47 we don’t know yet, we just have to cross our fingers they aren’t!
Man, knowing Nintendo, I think they're gonna be 60 a pop.
It's suppose to be a bundle iirc
@@t.fernbach602 The thing is: Super Mario 64 should NOT be $60 at all. Super Mario Sunshine (if remastered), should NOT be $60 either.
In my opinion: the games that should be $60 are:
Super Mario Galaxy Deluxe (1& 2 combined)
Super Mario 3D World Deluxe
Super Mario 64 + Super Mario Sunshine (combined as one game for $60 or each individual game should be $20-30, not $60.)
I've got a lot of time in my hands, but zero Nintendo switches.
same >:(
bruh
@@tinyhyukjae_ i agree
you also stole my comment
my switch broke so same
I just started playing Celeste on Switch. I'm not that big of a fan of platformers but Celeste is amazing. It has more puzzles and secrets than I was expecting. If you think you might like it, get it. You're missing out.
He stated the game in earlier videos, I think he might be talking about "new" games
"Not a lot of games on your Switch"
Are you kidding me? My backlog is larger than any time of quarantine could ever be!
I was going to say the same thing. Still playing through Dragon Quest 11....and lets not talk about the games I haven't even started yet.
Hello,
I'm sorry I did not understand your question. Thank you very much
Not a lot AAA games. Almost all games are indies on switch
@@CorpoHawkWasabi not true at all. I have 42 games physical games that are not indies. Behave, with that complete and utter nonsense!
@@CorpoHawkWasabi Absolutely idiotic comment from you, my friend.
2:32 The response from Adriano xD
more than any of these: *Hollow Knight.*
it’s 15 bucks for 80 hours of content _minimum._
i got 167 hours out of it.
*spams agree aggressively* Y E S
I mean they gotta be unknown or underrated or under appreciated games. hollow knight is pretty popular now
i got lost in the beginning when playing it on xbox game pass, the game doesn't do a good job telling you where to go.
@@anires1195 it’s a metroidvania, it’s not supposed to tell you where to go, as long as you’re doing something new you’re going the right way
I'm surprised there was no mention of One Step from Eden. If you're a Megaman Battle Network fan, you'll love this game!
Hello,
I'm sorry I did not understand your question. Thank you very much
I can't, lol 🤣
I don't get it...

Never heard of Dogurai until this video! Thanks for the recommendation :)
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL !
I just got a switch lite a day ago, your channel has been like nintendo switch 101 for me. Thank you for covering and making EVERYTHING nintendo switch so easy to understand. From the chargers explanation, to free games, to bluetooth controllers to everything. Thank you ❤
Beyond quality, it´s always good to help who tries to make stuff by its own
Bob, I highly appreciate this video. I bought Dogurai and I think it's just a blast, remember to have a good day!
I really enjoyed the video Bob. I am now interested in Dogurai, thanks to you.
Wasn’t convinced to buy any of these but I still liked the video.
You actually showed off some games I had been curious about! Definitly gonna get some of these!
Cheers for the video, been playing animal crossing constantly since release so I need a bit of a break from it. That roomba game looks quite fun, same with that cute save the kitty game and good job. That dog game boy game looks hella enticing too.
Just grabbed Creature in the Well and I'm so glad I did. Thanks for pointing it out!
It's cool to be forever immortalized in a Wulff Den video. I'm glad you enjoyed Super Crush KO, Bob!
I played Ori and the Blind Forest in the Switch. Love it and hope Nintendo will release its sequel too.
There's only one game I want to mention is A Step to Eden.
One Step From Eden*
I came here to mention that same game
@@sonicbhoc that's not a game to be slept on.
@@killmeade how much is It? What's it about ?
@Timothy DO hmmm I will have to check it out. Is it available in the American eshop ?
@@packers12to80 yes, came out last Thursday
Oh my god!!! This video is gold! Thank you!
A great game that is currently on sale for just a dollar: Conduct Together
Got it on a whim, managed to play it for like 5 hours. It's an overcooked steak game about cooperation and zany levels, it surprised us with how much we were laughing and having fun.
I picked it up for literally 1 switch gold goin cause it was one cent
Imagine being the hero of Wunderling 8:00 and thinking that you’re the main character of your universe, only to find out that some random goon is actually the protagonist of the game
what an underrated youtuber. your content is well entertaining, keep it up!!
I like getting notification about an upload from WOLF DENN.. ;)
*At **9:47**, Parker from Fanatix Four says that he looks like a detective while a poster of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu is right behind him so since I figured this out that means I'm a detective also! LOL!*
Very, very cool
Great list, Bob! I've been really enjoying Murder by Numbers, the picross/Pheonix Wright game!
Been playing a lot of "Ninjin: clash of carrots" lately, it's a co-op slasher with waves and bosses and lots of equipment to collect, and also it's on for like $2.50
These videos never fail to please me.
Zero time... working from home, and now teaching 2 kids at home also. Busiest time of my life, and I’m lucky as hell for it!
I like these videos that introduce me to some new games.
0:01 I have the exact opposite problem, too many games not enough time
Youv got a sub from me.👍🏾 you made me gave in to getting a switch from a pc gamer i never would of thought i would like it. Now i pick my switch and kick it in bed or the couch rather than sitting at my desk all the time and they games you recommend kept me entertained for hours on end. Finally a console that isn't just sitting there collecting dust
5:27 this artstyle reminds me of little birds teaching me how nukes and black holes work
I remember you streaming this on Twitch, that desert motorcycle boss was big hard. I bought dogurai and I love it, I have 15 or so hours in it and it cost $2.50 so that’s the best $ per hour of gameplay I’ve ever seen
Is the story 15 hours+?
Freezalo The Green nah, I don’t think so, I have just replayed some of the levels a few times, for the average game player I’d say you’ll see between 4-8 hours of gameplay, I just like to take my time and replay some things
@@Jason-mg3fk ahh okay I was confused because I didn't think a 5 dollar game would have 15 hours. Thanks for explaining that.
Freezalo The Green no worries, it’s definitely worth picking up though if you’re into the retro stuff
I got some glitch on dogurai where when I load my save and select a level it just takes me back to the load save page, do you know anything about that?
You guys make this whole quarantine situation a bit easier.
Excellent indie game DOGURAI (GAMEBOY tribute)
i like to imagine all the guys in Good Job are my family members. i get my anger out on that lmao
Some of my favorite indie games are CROSSNIQ+ and Downwell. Crossniq+ is a really neat puzzle game with a cool astethic all about making crosses and it gets really addicting. Feels very Dreamcast-y. Downwell is a simple, one button arcade style game where you fall down a well and have to shoot the bad guys. Not sure what itd classify as, i guess an endless runner almost? Long story short, both are very well crafted fun games and Crossniq+ is currently only a dollar.
I love your videos like this. Woods great but you have very discerning taste
Hey Wulff, i have been a fan for around 7 months now, and i have something that would make me choose whether or not i want to get the game you are recommending, by telling us how long it took for you to beat/get bored with it! Thank you for making amazing content during these rough times!
Agree with you there! I'm always so sceptical of reviews because I get bored quickly
Super crush KO looks sick!! It almost looks like a Steven Universe art style.. and the Roomba game is funny as hell
Good Job is hilarious!!!
Good job! Is awesome btw
Im not sure if mentioned this or not, but I love the editing skill and effects used in this video and how well Bob integrates them into the video (sorry if someone mentioned this, but comments are good for the algorithm right?)
Doguri is literally my favorite. Guys please don’t sleep on it.
Thx you like it its a brazillian game, not a lot o brazzilian games get recognition!
Thanks for the good recommendations, but this is worth a like just for the transition back and forth with Editing Bob.
i just finished dogurai and it’s so good!!
Creature in the Well is an amazing game, I played it last year on Xbox using game pass. This is the game that opened my eyes to indie games as before I’d usually avoid them.
Highly suggest it, another game I’d suggest is Donut County, first game my friend and I both bought on switch and it was an amazing experience!
Enter the Gungeon was always 2d. It just switched from top down to side/platformer view.
One thing that i would like you to know about Dogurai is that its a Brazillian game, and you don't see a lot of good games coming from here. It's nice to see overseas channels talking about it! Cheers, love your videos!
Hey Bob I really like your taste in games; it's not games I would typically notice or hear about but I end up loving them. I've bought probably a half dozen games based on seeing them on your channel in the last few months. I got 20XX as a non Megaman fan but I am loving it! I also picked up Dogurai for $5 and Roombo which was less than $2 on sale bc of this video. I probably would have skipped Roombo at full price but it was super cheap and I'll save it for a rainy day. Anyways your taste in games is pretty cool so I'd love an update video with more games you like if it's a slow news week or you don't have any demanding projects at the moment. Even if you are busy I'd still love to see another video with more indies from you.
One Step From Eden. It plays like the MegaMan Battle Network games but much faster and more chaotic.
Hey just wanted to say you should’ve added in shinsekai into the depths it’s a really amazing game where you play as a aquanaut who’s the last living human after an apparent ice age happens on earth and he’s traveling under water it’s an amaaazing game that should get more attention
I'm not sure if this game has been mentioned in the previous videos, but Velocity 2X is a stellar 2D shmup/platformer shooter combination. I love the game to death and own it on PlayStation, Steam, and now Switch, that's how much I want to support its devs. Velocity 2X deserves a shoutout for sure!
Pikuniku and Baba is You are ones I picked up recently and are also pretty good.
12:08 and 12:16. I really liked those transitions. That's it. That's all I wanted to comment about.
All of the Trine games are bundled for 19.99 right now too. Super good deal. Octopath is only 29.99 right now as well if you haven’t played through it yet.
Underhero is the only game that matters where you play as the goon of a video game boss
As someone who can't always splurge $60 on games, I like indie games because of how awesome and groundbreaking they are, while also being a reasonable price. Although all of the Nintendo switch first party titles that are $60 are definitely worth the money, if I need more games but can't spend as much money, indie games are definitely the way to go. Celeste, hollow knight, stardew valley, and many others have all been amazing, and I'm glad new indie games are releasing too ♥️
Hyper light Drifter, Bastion, Hollow knight, Hades, Mark of the ninja
Between the first party exclusives, third party ports (that are getting better and better), indie titles and retro classics, I'm staying pretty busy with my Switch. Thanks for the suggestions!
Unravel 2 for switch is a good indie game, it’s very yarnie
Why do people keep perpetuating the idea that 7/10 is a bad score
5/10 is average people
Reviewers grade like teachers grade: anything below 70 is a "failure."
5/10 is not "average", its 50%. The average score of all games could and probably is 7/10 since basically every game gets that score from most reviewers.
@@BoshBargnani Look at a bell curve. On a scale of 0-10, 5 is "average". They're saying reviewers essentially score on a scale of 4-10 where 7 becomes "average". 5 is statistically average but for whatever reason 7 is accepted as average. Most scores are skewed toward higher numbers because of our perception on 5 being a super low score.
@@MarauderShields a bell curve does not make 50% average, that's a common misconception, using a bell curve an engineering student can pass a class with a 20%. A bell curve adjusts values to create a normal distribution.
Think about it this way. 5/10 is "take it or leave it." It's not awful, but it's got very little to no compelling features. It's just okay. Or it's got some really good stuff, but you have to get through a comparable amount of really awful stuff. But, according to the empirical rule (or the "three-sigma rule"), you should expect your personal experience to most likely fall between 16/100 ("That was terrible!) and 84/100 ("That was actually pretty good."), but aiming more towards 38/100 to 62/100.
If you're consuming media, which is meant for entertainment, you want to have a great time, not just an okay time. Sure, maybe a handful of people really love that 5/10 game, but most people really seemed to not care for it, so you'll probably want to take your chances with something that has a higher score so you have a higher chance of getting a good amount of entertainment for your time and money investment.
If you want to give yourself a decent chance of *enjoying* the media you are consuming--that is, an experience of "wow, I really liked/loved that"--you should aim for a score of 9/10. Then, knowing nothing else, you should expect your personal experience to likely fall somewhere between 59/100 ("It was okay") and 93/100 ("That was really really good!"), but aiming more towards 70/100 to 91/100.
So, 7/10 is a "bad" score, because I expect my personal experience to be between 46/100 and 80/100. So, I might like it, but chances are I'm going to dislike it, so why take that chance, unless it's cheap or from a genre I really like, etc?
Of course, there's no accounting for taste, so you have to weigh your choice on many other factors than just average review score. You could have a 10/10 experience with something everything reviews a 0/10, or vice-versa.
All this is assuming that the hypothetical "true and objective" scores of media lies on a normal curve, with most media falling between 4 and 6 and increasingly rare truly awful and truly amazing examples.
one of my favorite indie games that is on the switch is Forager, love the game so much
try hat in time
Super hidden Gem: Stellar Interface, a rogue space shooter, go check it out.
I love how you rightfully questioned "permeable" but didn't question "It's 2D now!" Enter the Gungeon is a 2D game isn't it?
You need to check out Bloodroots probably one of the best on switch atm
romba and good job probably when i buy switch be my first option to buy i feel in this 2 games soul of true enjoyable gaming .
Editing Bahb do you want me to send some coffee your way? xD Also hi Parker! xD
Definitely gonna buy some of these, thanks for showing me them! (:
The game I’ve been looking at getting is Hob. There is a demo and it seems super great so far
You should try Pikuniku. It's very fun platform/logic game. It's gave me a lot of fun and laughs!
get yourself some hollowknight if you havent played it yet, that game is absolutely amazing
I've got my eye on Good Job! But like many I've got my fingers crossed for this Mario Remaster rumor...
Been eyeing 'good job' and 'super crush KO' and definitely gonna get 'good job' now (I may also have burst out into a little too loud laughter as I was watching you play it while I was supposed to be working and have been asked the heck I was doing... Home office, eh? ^^") Also, you look a lot, like, A LOT like my sister-in-law's husband but seem like a very likable person, which is... Rather confusing to my brain.
I can assure you *good job* is a *good job.*
Have you heard about One Step From Eden? That’s been pulling me in more than Animal Crossing haha
PLAY
KATANA ZERO
It's so underrated oh my god. I played it and it had to be probably one of my favorite games of last year it's *that* good. The gameplay is fast paced and extremely satisfying and the story is something incredible. The developer is planning on adding free dlc later down the line so please do me a favor and play it.
WE WANT MORE DRAGON DLC AND MORE DLC IN GENERAL!
Oh, you didn't mention Heaven Dust. The game is gem for fans of original Resident Evil.
Editting Bob's beard is look THICC
Please try Afterparty, I don’t see anyone talking about it and it’s so good
Let's go wolf den(AKA INTERNET DADDY) thank you ...for teaching how to spend money :)❤
Here are three indie games on switch that might have gone under the radar. Fist is "Heart&Slash" which is a rouge-like hack and slash game. Then there is also "Mist Hunter" which is a cool FPS that came out this year. Lastly "coffee talk" is a visual novel in the same vain to "VA-11 Hall-A".
My favorite indie game on the Switch is Firewatch
Parker really needs a pop filter for his plosives
I know this is not new BUT I wanna mention Torchlight 2 and Yaga. Torchlight 2 will give you your Diablo fix in a way that does it better a lot of time. Then with Yaga is a tough action/adventure with a story straight out of folklore and has the beautiful graphics straight out of a story book that will charm while also punishing you if you think it's easy
I don't even have a switch but these games sure are interesting.
first time i see a video of yours, and i totally suscribed, i liked this a lot
You can connect a controller to an iPhone or iPad and the Apple Arcade games will work fine. Heck, I’ve been enjoying Apple Arcade through my Apple TV with a PS4 controller. So you can enjoy Exit the Gungeon + a bunch of other great indie games for something like $5 a month.
I recommend Super Crush KO for a quick beat em up and and AND One Step to Eden because I'm a dirty Battle Network fanboy.
You missed Xeo Drifter.
It's a metroidvania.
Right now it costs only 0.99 cents.
I feel like I am trying to sell something.XD
WULFF can you review 51 worldwide games?
Is there any chance you can make a video about switch cases, but not the regular one, the ones that separate the joycons and the console and have them in a separate compartment like the pdp one
Honestly, I think Dogurai did one thing that I don't like. The design decision is a bit too faithful. Nit being widescreen. You have all this empty space not being used all because it's like a gameboy. A good old school inspiration takes the good elements, but throws away the bad or useless elements. Making it widescreen would help you see what's on the left or right of you
I wouldn’t call it indie but New Super Luckys Tail is a must
Getting that Roomba game right now lol
Also if y’all haven’t played Shakedown Hawaii or Katana Zero, do yourself a favor & buff up that backlog
My favourite Indie Game is Portal Knights.
