- Every day billions of tiny invaders called pathogens want to make our bodies their new homes. Luckily, we have a powerful army of specialized organs, cells, and tissues that work together to protect us. This is your body's immune system. Within this complex system is type of lymphocyte called a T-cell. This video will introduce you to Helper and Cytotoxic T-cells, and describe the mechanism by which they are activated when encountered by a pathogen. If you wish to know more about this remarkable process, make sure to stay tuned so we can demystify T-cells together!

"maybe they won't notice"
"they noticed"
10/10 video, A plus, all stars
The fact that we know how they work is mind blowing
Exactly. The combination of the fact that these functions exist and that we have the capability of mind to observe and understand their existence and purpose is evidence of a Creator to me. A Maker of man. Most importantly that we are made in his image (likeness of mental capability).
Nothing to do with institutionalized religion.
@@anotherpointofview222 Amen to that! Praise the Lord Almighty!
I've been reading about T cell immunity, buy this video really makes you understand the process much much better! Keep up the good work so us normal peiple can better understand human biology!
BRILLIANTLY explained !! 👍🏻👍🏻
Great
Thank you for all your hard work on this
Thank you for this video! It helped me a lot!!
Thank you so much for this video, it was very helpful!
thank you, this was helpful
thank you so much for clarifying!
I’m taking a biology lecture & this really helped. I still need to study a lot but I have a better idea now!
Thank you so much for this video. Helped me a lot with my exam I have this week!
Good luck
It’s amazing to see how advanced our bodies have become just by evolution!
Great video
Very helpful❤
thanks a lot now i finally undersrand this topic❤ ❤😊😊
Great vid!
I’m watching this while I’m sick 🤒
i had a swollen lymph node on my left side of my throat they wouldnt let me see what it was usually put to sleep to complete surgery anyway it was dysmorphed
I don't think we appreciate the body's ability to produce specific antibodies for literally a trillion unique potential antigen epitopes. Almost incomprehensible!
This video is so great, thank you! Also FYI, maybe you could consider de-essing the voice a little bit? Some of the sibilance is very harsh :o) Otherwise, very nicely done!
Oh no! You broke the ceiling. Now that's all I hear
Great video, but I scrolled down to see if anyone else commented this. So much sibilance.
We win BIG! 🏆 🏆!
Tcr beta and gamma- and tcr beta and gamma + are common in the duodenum ?
Nk if i am not wrong belongs to the innate immune system.
Dn cd4 or Cd 8 are immature or are a consequence of autoimmune disease ?
*me not understanding a thing*
“this was a very simplified version of how to explain t cells”
You’re right to be confused by a very confusing presentation.
The immune system and its function is one hell of a thing to understand. Repetition is key to understand.
@@wifi-YT It definitely is not.
@@anomalyp8584 I disagree. I think Michael is right to be confused. This video is extremely confusing.
@@wifi-YT what is so confusing to you?
I wonder how many students you helped
Your voice hisses a lot when u pronounce the letter S
I know love the T cell
what ab step 2 of the activation of the other t cells CTL
CD8+ T cells are CTL.
Now... How can we increase these helpers, naturally?
Nevermind... I found the answer right after I commented.

@@daphne201239 your body will boost what it needs when it needs it. Of course nutrition is vital, but your blood isn't going to be swimming in killer t cells etc unless it's vital. Immune response is a major part of what makes one feel ill during a viral infection etc. The body is a finely balanced machine, you're not going to increase the helpers unless you're constantly infected I'm afraid to say.
Zinc 35 to 50 mg
Melatonin 3 mg at night
Mushroom extracts
Good question; I've no answer. One thing I'd focus is if an 'over suscription' of T Cells could be counterproductive.
Thymosin alpha 1 peptide
Resident evil stuff :)
All I can think while watching 8s Resident Evil

Her hissing s-es are so irritating to my ears!!
Appreciate that she is explaining a topic in a very clear way with great animations
@@Pixelgamiing I don't know what kind of a submissive slave you are and how your owner tells you what to appreciate for but luckily I'm free to decide myself what to appreciate and what not to like.
