Warrior
Having been a driver and gunner on warrior for a number of years I can say the rate of fire is faster than in game.
Not the first vehicle that has happened with. Especially with NATO vehicles.

I love the Warrior, which I've dubbed The Fly Swatter. I always imagined the longer reload every six shots was for a mandatory sip of tea.
I am going to be honest but the warrior is my favourite IFV in the whole game since the missile is pretty good and you get 8 of them. It is fast and goes the same in reverse and finally the 30mm is just as powerful as a 57 but has almost unlimited ammo
So you haven't really played any other IFV ? it's really bad but I guess at 8.0 you could make it work

@@alexanderminev8787 It's mobile, has thermals, and is at 8.0 where it gets constant downtiers and fights T-54 49's and Leopards.
The 30mm RARDEN in my real life experience (on CVR(t) Scimitar) is VERY accurate for a small caliber autocannon and with a half awake gunner loading and cranking efficiently plenty quick enough firing. The Armour Piercing Secondary Effect (APSE) round was doom to anything it penetrated, and got nicknamed Armour Piercing 'Special Effects' due yo the light show it's incendiary filler would create when it went off inside a light vehicle like a BRDM, BMP or BTR etc. I don't think the APSE is in use with us Brit's anymore, think we took it out of service because you might hurt someone with it (Health & Safety for you!), we just use boring APDS on it now, so no light show! RARDEN is also a purely mechanical design (I think it's design is actually based on a WWII era German Walther design), so unlike many vehicles if you lose electrics etc, you can still operate the weapon with no issues (assuming you can still manually operate the turret traverse and elevation controls). It must be noted too that RARDEN armed Scimitars from the QDG's (Welsh lads usually) knocked out several Iraqi T-62's frontally with the 30mm APDS in the first Gulf War, so a Warrior would have no problems knocking out similar MBT's like T-55, AMX-30 or Leo 1 from the front too.

I like your patience making precise shots and waiting for the enemy to move into a better spot even when they are close to you. I normally just blow all my shots first chance I get - perhaps better to approach some engagements with more patience and caution to set up the shots better.
Opposite for me. His highly cautious play style drives me crazy. Like at 13:15. The 30mm has like 110mm of pen he can easily go through the back of that guys turret. I literally spoke out loud bruh just fuckin shoot him.

It depends, waiting for the optimal situation can get you killed and you lose it all. But sometimes you can get more kills by giving them a false sense of security and just waiting for them to expose themselves more.
@@shatteringthematrix6959 yeah, shooting before you have a kill shot lined up only reveals your own position and wastes ammo so that you'll be reloading or out of ammo when the second enemy tank just behind the one you shot rolls out of cover to teabag you.
Just got a nuke 2 days ago with the Warrior which was my first nuke at high br. I like the Warrior. Other IFV's are obviously generally better, but its faster speed and better APDS and ATGM does makes up for its slow fire rate and no gun stabilizer. Also not to mention its additional side armor is actually sometimes surprisingly effective against HEAT-FS, even on not harsh angles it can stop some HEAT-FS going through, but wont stop APDS thou.
Wasn't designed to stop APDS...It was designed to counter RPG-7's

I can indeed confirm the Warrior is a sad IFV. The low fire rate of the 30mm means you better not miss that first shot
But it's still better IRL than the Ajax intended to replace it on account of not injuring the crew by vibrations.

Its actually much better than the M3 Bradley, its just a little too high of a BR for an IFV with no stabilizer while the bradley is just missing M919

I usually bring some of the mixed belts for helis and light targets. The SAP rounds literally 1 shot a lot of light vehicles it's insane.
Also @ 17:51 that sad moment you open the scoreboard to see 11 of your teammates have done utterly nothing and most left after a death. High tier in a nut shell 😭

On the IFVs, you should try out one of sweedens 40 mm IFVs. I just unlocked them and learn a lot about the vehicle's performance from watching you play.
The 40mm with APFSDS is absolutely knarly.
You can actually pen the ZTZ96 from the front straight through its lower plate, my friend one taps them all the time lol.
Gotta say, it looks better than the stats would imply, my fav IFV gotta be either the Type 89 or the Dardo. The later of them has been growing on my latley with its insane rate of fire on the autogun.
I was puttering around in a tier 1 BT-26 (I think?) that had a gun that fired just a bit faster than that, and hit just about as hard. There was no ATGM backup as this was a WW1ish vehicle. It was fun to sneak around and try to get some good shots into an opponent before he could spot me. Fun stuff!

I wish they would give us the Warrior 2 which had a prototype turret that had the 40mm CTA gun, which has a similar rate of fire to the Bradley.
I think a Warrior CSP with the extra composite armour and Javelin missiles or a Desert Warrior with the turret from the LAV would be cooler, but yes, the Warrior 2 technology demonstrators would also be very interesting. Britain needs more IFVs

I LOVE playing the warrior. Its pretty good.
I even use it alongside my black knight aswell....get a kill with the missile here and there too. Killing 11.0 tanks. Its a fantastic little machine

I used to be a warrior ifv gunner, if only the real warrior was as good as the one in game lmao. In real life its got 9 rounds loaded before a reload is needed by the commander, and it's done by hand and it's a total pain and has to be hand cranked. The turret traverse often breaks and has to be wound by hand too. Also the worst thing I think was loading in the 7.62mm ammo bins as you had to fully depressthe gun and they only just slid in place, and you had to get this 25kg+ bin through the cupola and over the ready rack into a mega tight spot.
Bro, the Warrior Stans are going to come after you for that first 6 seconds! LOL I can't get into the Warrior. It's a decent IFV but HOLY is it bad compared to other Nations.

I want ferrets with quad an duel swing fire and fv102 British have too few scouting vehicles at mid tier. But in reality they had loads .

The Spartan is the apc the scimitar and sabre have the 30mm. I’ve been waiting for the cvrt to come into the game for years I’d play the hell out of those vehicles.

@@AxlePlaysGames the Spartan only carries a GPMG but some of them did have a Milan compact turret fitted which could launch two ATGM’s
People didnt research the Rarden and it shows. this gun is slow, for high accuracy short bursts, IRL the rate of fire is 100RPM not 80RPM. But the gun is very accurate for long range single shot use.
the sadder IFV is The ratel 20, I like the Stryker Its has a smaller Tank Silhouette then the bradley
Ratel 20 is hardly an IFV... At best it's a troop transport with a gun... like the M113.

You might think warrior is bad, but remember for a second that rarden shoots the same ammo as FALCON spaa. and FALCON is absolute BIAS

I was shocked to learn that the Warrior IFV actually uses three round clips. Not magazines, not six rounds like it does here. Actual clips.
If you fired three rounds off, you just slap another clip in, takes a second. Fire all six, it takes ages because you have to hand crank a full clip of three into the firing mechanism, then slap a second clip in.

I'd always assumed the Rarden would be able to feed the 3 rd. clips indefinitely once you've gotten the gun "cocked".
The reason the 30mm is so slow is because in between each shot the gunner is taking a sip of tea
funny thing is ingame both the bmp 2 and bradley have much better range for some reason, the much spicier and specifically designed for range against bmp's/russian light armor rarden with such low rpm is worse beyond like 500 meters ingame.

I mean, Warrior is outclassed by russian and german IFVs and M3A3 Bradley (i consider M3 bradley to be at simular level, cuz bad reverse and pen), but i think there is still even sadder IFV, and that is Ratel 20 - Bad pen on cannon, slugish mobility and large size with armor that can only stop small machine guns, .50 cal will shred it to pieces and of course turning radius of bus
Cant wait for the Fox and Sabre to be added, this gun but no atgm but with considerably faster chassis. Will be spicy as fuck with the trolly lil 30mm in the game.

I was very surprised when you scout enemies through obstacles. Because sometimes it doesnt count if u move crosshair a bit to the side of enemy's vehicle, and scout ability goes to long cooldown, but in the same time you can scout through textures, that's strange.

Another thing you forgot to mention about the Warrior vs the Bradley is that damn set up time for the TOW's. Too many times I've been caught with my pants down on the move and they wouldn't deploy fast enough. Also the Bradley is huge and slow. If you get into a favorable position, the Bradley is a god of destruction, if not you're just a nuisance at best. Warrior/Type 89/Dardo > Bradley

thing is with the Rarden is it is meant to have a slow rate of fire so that it never overheats. (It cools down faster than it heats up between each shot). They have clips of 3 that is autoloaded and for some reason the game does it in 6. Thing is as you showed today it's still one of the better IFVs in the game mainly because of the profile and mobility and the rate of fire really doesn't mean anything as it 1 shots targets if you aim well. also the warrior hasn't quite got the right rate of fire lol
I'd guess the game treats it as if it has 6 rounds clips probably because the gun always has a 3 round clip loaded and another 3 round clip not technically loaded but it's immediately available in a sort of "ready rack", so as soon as the loaded clip is expended, the new one is immediately loaded (basically it's just like on a 40mm bofors).
As long as the human operator replenishes the "ready rack" each time the gun feeds from it, the gun effectively never runs out of ammo, so it can shoot all of it in one go, but if the human operator stops, then the gun, theoretically, should have access to a maximum of 6 rounds, 3 in the loaded clip and 3 in the immediately available "ready rack", so there you go, 6 rounds.

Maybe it has changed in previous update since the last time I used it, but from my experience you definitely cannot expect its cannon to one shot regardless of how well you aim. Even direct hits to ammo won't necessarily, or even usually, destroy the target. As is expected of APDS, especially lower caliber APDS, spalling is all over the place and can't be relied on as is damage. Maybe that crew member you hit in the thigh will go down, or maybe he will just be orange.

Warrior is hard to play, but I've shot down 2 G91, a Helicopter, and A10, and on a good side shot I can one tap a MBT

The problem I have with the warrior is the stock belt. It has 3 53mm pening max APIT. That's worse than the Mk 103 for ww2.
The fire rate was probably employed to preserve accuracy.
Bradley carries 2-6 dismounts, the Warrior 7-10. Doesn't matter in War Thunder of course.

i use the 30mm on the warrior has the primary weapon and the atgm has the secondary. the slow fire rate ive found confuses people on where they are geting shot from.

Lol I take my warrior upto 11.7 to get my harrier out it's not bad, just like all other ifvs you can play them at 8.0 or 11.7 an they're effectiveness barely changes, even the stabiliser can be worked around by just using 3rd person to shoot while your moving an it works
Ahaha…ok, sure, 81mm of pen on the 25mm bushmaster, yeah…we’ll go with that. Lol. Just know that is hilarious. I’ll say this, they can and did kill T-72’s at closer ranges in the gulf war, with 25mm auto cannon…that was almost 32 yrs ago…so yeah…lol. But 81mm pen, lol.
