@@edgarspavlovics3540 I agree that skipping the ad(s) doesn't mean you're not supporting the content creator, but I disagree that ad companies shouldn't reach out to content creators to sell their product. Why shouldn't they? The Internet is the best way to sell a product these days and content creators can help with that. What makes them different from celebrities who get paid to promote a product? If anything, they're usually more credible as supporting a fraudulent or incompetent company is a quick way to receive backlash or even losing your audience entirely.
@@gaaraxnaru exactly. His credibility is on the line, so he has to be choosy about what he promotes. That's the best way to do it: if you really think the product does something well for you and could for others, that is the proper brand for you to recommend. It really feels like Ryan could get anyone to sponsor his video, but he genuinely tries to find products that can be useful. And if they're not to an individual viewer, it's still entertaining in it's irony. It's such a perfect design
Not only does he have genuine thoughts to share about it, but he has a way of making the the solution the product brings to be just as obvious as a man saying "I don't think it would be ethical to sell POISON." He's paid attention to what he's showcasing, unlike some people who just make their face part of the brand. It feels way more real somehow, despite the unrealness of him being a literal astronaut floating around and trying to live his life in another dimension while watching Earth in complete solitude.

My brother's drunk friends once stole a huge military recruitment banner of the fence of a military facility. Then I ended up being the sober person who had to put it back.
When me and friend where in prague we tried moving a traffic cone from one side of town to the other. But because celibrations some roads where closed so we had to go trough the middle. We got. caught, so we had to leave the cone. We didnt make a fuss out of it. So no problems with the law or anything.
