agree totally on ps5 compatability, i love my r5 with srp loadcell pedals on pc, but am seriously looking at the new thrustmaster offering, can't wait forever, life is too short.
The ES wheel feels so good. And it truly is silent especially compared to my g29. The ONE thing I’ll say, is draping a DAMP (NOT DRIPPING AT ALL) rag across the top of the wheelbase helps with heat. The grooves act as a heatsink and the base will get hot. Drifting and rally really heat it up and I play on radical heat management. I feel like I’m making a decent impact, flip the rag a couple times until it dries, DAMPen it again and away we go. The wheelbase has never gotten so hot that I got burned, or would be concerned about burning anything, it won’t melt anything, I just simply want to aid in the cooling. I’ve heard of people buying desktop fans and pointing it at the base but I don’t have a large enough desk for that

Sony never does. Had thrustmaster Xbox/ pc wheel for years. Sony always seperate cus manufacturers have to pay extra to connect to PS

100% get the R5 if youre on PC
100% go for the r5. the r3 is basically a glorified g920 torque wise
