The cooling tower just "threw in the sponge" and collapsed. But that smokestack was defiant to the end. It survived about another 25 seconds beyond the blast to topple it not to mention apparently doing some "revenge...I'll show you!" damage to the adjacent electric substation. Thanks for sharing!

That smokestack was possessed. It's like it stopped ,looked around and said to itself I am going to raise hell and hit power station. Lol
This plant made electricity for 3 million homes in its day. That is most of SE Ohio.
