    Got to take mine for a spin for the first time today and it’s super stable and light enough to walk a mile or two with it in the duffel. Also doesn’t need to be “factory folded” to fit back in the duffel which is nice, just gotta remember to fold the pontoons in.

      Awesome! For sure on putting it back in. I just fold them in and roll it up.

    I always learn from you videos and have a question about the kuda line. I am 77 years old and have been fishing out of an 8 foot Old Town kayak, I way 190 and carry a small amount of gear with me, I fish small lakes and ponds in New Hampshire and only nice on days. Looking at size and weight is the kuda 106 some thing I should consider or is the 126 a better kayak for me. Thank you for any input and keep the videos coming.

      The 106 would work fine, but I think the performance from the 126 would be better. Since the weight is not that much go with the 126 if you can!

    Great video, thanks for doing this! I just purchased a Kuda 126 and looking for info and ideas on how to rig it for fishing. What portable pump do you recommend for having on board? Are the inflation fittings adaptable to and compatible with non NRS pumps? What are you using in the video to deflate the kayak?

    • @roadtripangler
      @roadtripangler  3 месяца назад

      Hey! Awesome and congrats! I am carrying a k-pump with me. I believe NRS has them on their site and yes other pumps work but depending on the adaptors it comes with you may have to purchase the correct one for the NRS valve. I picked up this electric pump from them which has the right adaptor and I use it to deflate as well!

    Do you have any videos showing a motor install on the NRS? Looking for light weight river kayak

    • @roadtripangler
      @roadtripangler  2 месяца назад +1

      I do not, but if anyone does it would be Jeff Little. His channel is The Little Stuff. I plan to keep mine simple since I have a motor on my coosa. I know his is fast with the motor though!

    Any info as to why NRS discontinued this model? I contacted customer service and they did not know.

    • @roadtripangler
      @roadtripangler  28 дней назад

      I don’t really know but they have done that before when they plan to launch a new model or update it. I did hear that they are not planning to for a bit though. My best guess is they got over stocked during Covid and it took them a while to move that inventory and now that it is gone they are reassessing their lineup. I hate it though because I feel like it is such a great platform and I don’t know if anything currently as light as it is.

    Hi, thank you for the great video, could you fit the chair in the backpack to be able to air travel with it?

    • @roadtripangler
      @roadtripangler  6 месяцев назад

      Thanks! I strap it to the out side and it is super secure. If you took it apart, I think you might be able to do it. Would be tight, but with it strapped to it I would not be afraid to check it

    What brand and size is the seat cushion you use with the Kuda seat?

    • @roadtripangler
      @roadtripangler  28 дней назад

      It is from a company called Kayak Kushion and I think they only have one size.

    how does this handle bigger lakes and wind? looks awesome!

    • @roadtripangler
      @roadtripangler  7 месяцев назад

      Wind is always difficult in any boat. It handles it fine as far as I feel safe, but I might get a bit wetter and if I am trying to fish the wind will push it around easier than a heavier plastic kayak. It is just so light and sits high in the water. So it is a trade off.

      @roadtripangler awesome. Can't wait. My Kuda 126 arrived today. I used to be on Jackson team back in the day, Drew Gregory sponsored me. Love inflatables. Have the older Star Pike which is awesome as well. Enjoying your channel!
