Its about a quarter to 6 in the morning so i decide to get up do a dab and watch the latest ice fishing vid. I was going to crawl back into bed then i hear the faint sound of Breadfan playing and it got me all jacked up and i cannot go back to sleep. Awesome!
My son and I met you last year at the sportsman’s show when you were live. My son would lose his mind if we met up and fished with you guys for a day. We ice camp as well, and love this time of year!
We had a similar bunk setup in our old bobhouse, but we made it so the top bunks fold down instead of up. That way the cushions are a backrest during the day
Hi Joe. I'm watching your Ice Fishing Video where you're on East Grand Lake. I had a Nephew who Fished East Grand in the Summer time and he caught a Togue on a Sucker bait and it weighed 11 Ibs.Nice Togue. I seen the one Brandon caught!! That was a nice Togue!! I enjoy watching your Videos!! They're all AWESOME !! 👌 👏 👍
I cant get over the color of the lakers up there. We've caught some big ones out of southern Lake Michigan in early spring and they're near all white. They hardly look like the same fish.
Oh man. Nice fish guys. When are you gonna get some cusk nuggets fried up and broken open? 😉 my mom used to buy cusk when I was a teenager at the fish markets around Bath, ME. I remember her coating them with a thin clam fry powder and frying them on the stove. They were white, tender and flaky. Hoping to see the finished results one of these times Joe. You are always so jovial and fun to be around. I can see why everyone likes fishing with you. Keep up the great content. 🎣
I just found your channel recently with the cabin build because I enjoy off grid cabin content. I’ll have to peruse back through your past fishing videos and check it out.
Originally, so legend goes, "Togue" came from the American Indian name for the fish. It’s more common to call them that here than by it’s many other names. "Togue" is Mainer for Lake Trout, or the scientific species name of Salvelinus namaycush. In Vermont it is called the "Longe", and in California it is known as the “Mackinaw Trout”. In Lake Superior, it’s known as “Lean” “Siscowet”, or “Paperbelly”. It is also called "Grey Trout", "Salmon Trout", "Forktail", “Lake Char”, “Touladi” and "Laker".
Yes Steve nailed it. It’s actually written in our law books as Togue and some of my buddies for a long time didn’t know lake Trout and Togue are one in the same
Hey Joe I'm not a person that likes asking for things for free I've got old man traps given to me and I can't seem to get them to work good for me if I had a chance to get 5 new traps to do some ice fishing this year it would make my year I've never won a ice derby that I can remember for the life of me but if it is possible I would appreciate it and ever in your dedt I love your videos and can't wait for the next one love you guys can't wait to see what happens in the next video see you then

Thank you so much I’ve had them in a few videos but will try and dedicate a video to them this season

What pound test do y'all put on your reels?
A lot have 50lb braid backing And 10-12lb fluorocarbon leader to lure
Call a taxidermist put it on the wall! Ice fish baby!
Heck yeah buddy
Is this a current video? Or one left over from last hard water season?
Holdover
Warranty on the traps?
Lifetime
When’s the new snowmobile showing up?
Not this year buddy I’m running my same one
I’m supposed to go to east grand in a week but I don’t know if we will because of the ice melting
I heard really bad, Id double check but I don't think its good right now .
Hey Joe!? Sorry to interrupt.. can’t find much on east grand this AM. Any hints for the best spot (without giving up any secrets?)
Double check ice conditions. The deep hole is always popular for a great reason. Anywhere near it too.
Wish I could comment some pictures of fish I've caught out there. My favorite lake too fish!
Next time!
That scale is off That one in the shanty looked 10 pounds all day😂
Agreed
Doesn’t get any better than Metallica and mackinaw

Yes Steve nailed it. It’s actually written in our law books as Togue and some of my buddies for a long time didn’t know lake Trout and Togue are one in the same
@@JoeHollandFishing I didn’t know either when I was fishing as a teenager.
@JoeHollandFishing yea I'm just a northern Minnesota boy so we are kind off sheltered up here haha
