Honestly, that is why I like the Power Platform Developer role, because you get to do a little bit of everything while still tinkering with the tools as your primary job. Variety is where I like to be. 😂 I’ve been meaning to get more into the Fabric lakehouse/warehouse stuff though, that one is next on my list for sure!

I work as a PBI Developer, but want to learn more about Power Automate and Power Apps. First i want to learn Power Automate, but i don't find any courses that really can take me to the next level. Do you have any suggestion?
What type of things are you wanting to do with it? It helps to be more specific with searches when you're looking for tutorials, e.g. "Power Automate approval flows" will get you very different results from "Power Automate http request" or "Power Automate with Power Apps". I would pick something you want to try making and try to build it as practice, doing an internet search if you got stuck. Half of Power Automate is trial and error. :)
@@bi-ome for now i don't need it to my job. But i would like to know more to be able to provide some solutions. I'm able to do basic stuff, like automating reminders, receive blogs interest notifications... At the present i would love to know how to automate more generic things, not exactly business related
@@theAIExperiment2023 The thing is there are 1000 connectors and each connector has a bunch of associated actions, so you can probably do literally a million things with it - so you have to have an idea of what you want to do first! Even if you don't need it at your job, it makes good practice to use it anyway - that way you have "job experience" with it when you want to apply to something. You can look around at the processes going on and offer to improve them as a project if you have time. The actions are mostly geared towards work activity and work products, so you'll have more luck coming up with work-related tasks than personal. Power Automate is like riding a bicycle, the only way you really get good at it is by practicing. That said, if you're looking for core principles, I would make sure you understand looping, when to use which trigger, how permissions on them work (how to modify who owns a connection), how to format content in an email (dates, links, etc), how to use variables, how to get things from an API, and then how to do things with the response you get. Error handling is important too. SharePoint is a great one to practice with because it's not premium and has a really rich action set.
hi i worked on power automate desktop and cloud for 6 months and now i am learning power apps i got my basics done with it...i wanna learn power bi ..can we interact and share eachother knowledge during weekends @@theAIExperiment2023
