Interesting pen, and so useful in the right situation. Thanks for this video. Always a pleasure to spend some time in your convivial company!

This is very high on my Want list, but the price precludes. Not that it's overpriced; more that I'm under-resourced 😄

I’m going to steal that word. 😂
      I’m a bit under- resourced.

I had a lunch yesterday with South West Writers - and I think it's fair to say the whole group was severely under-resourced!

    As usual a nice video.
    Well done.
My main reason to comment, after 2 years of being following you on youtube, I just bought my first book from you. The first of the last templar serie. And ... like it much ;-) You are a very enjoyable read, I do recommend.

I love my Tom's Studio Pen. I bought one after your first video and use it as an eyedropper pen. The only issue with is that the O-rings provide some very nice tactile feedback, making it fun to fiddle with the sliding the non-writing part of the pen up and down. Be warned, that creates a vacuum, and when you write with the pen, you get some inly hands. Don't fiddle, and it's not a problem...but I so love to fiddle with it.

Thanks for sharing - and yup - I had the same effect. I have to admit, I didn't isolate what caused the problem, so I'm really glad you've explained it to me! I'll bear that in mind for future videos on the pen. It is a lovely little pen, though, isn't it?

I have a Kaweco Sport. Lovely transparent purple resin. I have yet to ink it. It is too small and the barrel is thin and it will not accept international long cartridge. The converter is a joke. This pen is very interesting. I would certainly eyedropper fill the pen. It also looks like it may accept long cartridges. Thank you for the review and recommendation, Michael.
I also sent my email address to you for your upcoming newsletter.

Many thanks, Paul! I hope to get the first newsletter out very soon, and will make sure your email is added - I have to admit, yesterday was not a very prolific day in terms of work!

I think that could be on the cards before too long. And a range of alternative sepias, too.

I'm on the lockout for a pocket pen. This is definitely a contender. Might go for the classic Kaweco AL Sport to start or possibly the Namisu N2. Decisions, decisions!

Consider some of the offerings from Schon Designs. Their “Smoltem” is really cool and they have a bunch of metal pens, too.

Hahaha - you're following me! My first pocket pen was a Kaweco AL-Sport (and I still love it, but one issue: when posting, it's posting metal against metal, and you have to force it pretty hard to get the thing to post securely in my experience. I love it for its weight, but then I got a plastic version, which I have to admit, I have used a lot more. The friction of plastic against plastic makes it a more robust pen to use posted - and it's unusable un-posted! Then I started with the Tom's Studio pen, and basically I haven't looked to use a Kaweco since. Much better ink capacity, easy to pocket, doesn't seem to leak, and generally a lovely tool to use.

Hmm. I have heard of them, but never seen one in the flesh. I'll have to try to take a look when I get some spare time. Thanks, Drew!

    Nice looking pen!
I empathize with an ink spill. I'd made the mistake of buying a bottle of Noodler's Warden series Bad Blue Heron (it was ultimately underwhelming for me. The only claim by the maker I could agree with was that it is very permanent. Lots of bleeding, spreading, just not what I wanted.) Opened that VERY full bottle... From on a hard surface.
Spilled. Mostly down the crotch of the khaki trousers I was wearing... Nathan Tardif should consider how easy they spill instead of focusing on filling the bottles completely. Not getting the spilled ink in value, are we? 😂
Might actually consider getting one of these pens. A pocket pen always has a use, in my opinion.

Ouch! Yes, my kitchen floor also caught some of the ink. The soaked dog came through to tell me about the shock of the bottle throwing ink over her, and had to have a shake...
