One of the prettiest tiny homes I've seen over the years. The attention to detail with the woodwork and the copper sink to the ease of the murphy bed- beauty and function at its best in a tiny home. And how very smart to buy a property big enough to support a large garden and rent space to others of a like mind while cutting expenses. Well done.
I really like everything about this one. As a senior I cringe when I see those tiny stairs or ladders going up to a sleeping loft. The kitchen seems so big, I love the full size shower and the Murphy bed office, everything is great. The fact that they bought a house and rent it out is the cherry on top, a nice change from we park it at our parents. The traditional decor mixed with quirky accessories is fabulous.
It really is an excellent use of space and the Murphy bed really helps create a super functional home 😊✨
@poodlegirl55 - I agree 100% about having a loft, it is one thing I physically can not do. The only things that makes it inaccessible - for me - are the steps up to the patio & step down entrance.
Look at them taking initiative to preserve and protect their relationship while they built their home 🥰 So good.

Yes! I appreciate that there's no ladders, no crawling around on your knees in a loft... and you can't tell me those tiny lofts with the ceiling a foot from your nose while lying in bed isn't hotter than heck 🥵🌡️
I've been looking at tiny homes for over two years now and I've really liked many of them. But being that I'm older and have mobility issues, this home seems much more efficient for someone like me. And the decor in addition to the floor plan was very appealing! Very, very lovely!

Best tiny house I have ever seen!!! Love the layout, the high ceilings, love the vintage touches, the coat closet, the piece above the stove, the closet in the bedroom, the bathroom, it's just gorgeous!! You two did a great job. LOVE IT.

Love this one! It has so much character. The furniture is so cozy and inviting. Plus, the outside of the house looks like a regular house; the way the roof is done makes it visually interesting and less like a long narrow building. One of my faves, for sure! ♥♥♥

Hands down the BEST tiny house I have ever seen.
That is a beautiful project. I love the way they incorporated vintage furniture and fixtures. The bathroom was most impressive. The large shower made by hanging over the tow is brilliant.
I have watched a lot of tiny home videos and your home is one of the most stunning. The ten foot width really seems to make a difference in how space is used. It's also clear you have put a lot of thought into it. The best part is that you're still so young and already living your dream. So very nice to see. Good Luck!

You seem to have created a fair amount of space for clothing storage, something that seems lacking in many tiny homes. Plus it is uncomplicated, functional as well as attractive. Great job!

This couple has it all. Not only a beautiful tiny house, with so many practical and decorative touches that makes it THEIRS - but also the food production that is not only practical and a money-saver, but also a labour of love. I'll be taking a couple of ideas from this video for sure!

Absolutely one of my favorites so far. I love the separation of spaces through use of furniture and gabled roofs. And so many lovely and unique details!
I like the way the closet was used to separate the space to make a bedroom. I also like the fact there is a closet. Really personalized home.

Modern Murphy bed are great - and doesn't take much longer to put up than to make a 'regular bed!!
I had one in a tiny apartment in Portland in the 70s - usually left it down as i didn't have a couch, and only one guest at a time!
Right on ! It is amazing at how easy it is to use a Murphy bed. This is one of the best we’ve seen; custom for the win!

Outside and inside, this house is really nicely designed. I do love the homey vintage feel, the jars on the shelves, the open shelves below the counter, the style of the shower. Really nicely done, and a great community effort!

I am so in love with this tiny home! You have thought it out so perfectly! I will be doing my own tiny home within the next 6 months and I will be using a lot of your ideas! I wish that I could get you to visit when I'm ready to create the inside. This is my 1st and only tiny home since I'm 70 so I don't plan on doing another. I just want to make sure that I use my space well and I won't have any regrets! But, I live in Toledo Ohio so a bit of a jog! LOL! Thanks for this video and the excellent description!

I really, really, really, love this house. Between the layout, the design choices, & the craftsmanship they built every facet of it with individuality & style. From tongue to tail to the property they truly brought in everything that was important to each of them separately and together as a couple. This all makes this Tiny a very special and warm home. (And their kitty is adorable.) It is also amazing that they were able to have this property and set it up as a small & affordable, community for everyone. Great job all the way around.

Love the design, so well thought out and your description of your process as well. I love to see a young couple come up with a more meaningful and intentional lifestyle, focussing on their values of community and self-sufficiency, rather than getting caught up in materialism and keeping up with getting more and bigger. When he said they charged rent below market value, essentially to help others, I really respect and admire that. Very nice video.

This couple are wonderful, how they've shared their property with others and yet everyone helps towards the mortgage with their rent as well the rules(which aren't many) are very fair and straight forward, but I really respect how they've rented out their main house and won't up the rent is such a noble and kind thing to do. Good on them and I hope they continue growing beautiful fruits and veggies as well as continuing living happy free lives🙏🏽😊
Being in the trades for 25 years I have to say you two did a great DIY job on your tiny home. P.S. You do not want to store your vinyl records stacked like that, up right and vertical.
