What is shown at this moment is what follows: The stainless steel ring shown moments earlier, and that is an updated feature, must be pressed onto the spindle together with the hub, and thus with the ring mounted into the rubber seal. If not, the bushing will be destroyed upon mounting.
@@berry254 Should I be able to replace a hub with a used one from an other car or do I have to make sure that the replacement does not have the updated feature?
Just an FYI sealing ring on my front of W203 is 2033300060 NOT 2043300060 and it does not have the stainless steel ring. Wow that one threw me. It appears that was NOT used on W203. Not until 2009 on C class.
@@Dnasty1same here on my c207 E550. I replaced my old hub with a new hub and bearings/races assembled but I took out the sealing ring and my bearings still feel bad even though they’re brand new. Going to try to re-install with the sealing ring.
My mechanic replaced the front passenger wheel baring for my Mercedes C Class same Model as in this video. But now the ABS warning light is on. Also when I press the brake paddle while driving the brakes vibrate badly. Mechanic has tried everything he Could but the ABS Warning light is still there. Could you please advise what can be done for that? I will be very thankful. Regards Kelly
The rubber/metal seal is magnetic and responsible for delivering the ABS impulse. That seal is to be handled with care, not near to other magnetic objects, also pressed, NOT hammered into Place. And most important, not too deep inside he hub, but to be leveled with the hub edge. As done in this video with the special tool.
On the bearing cover there is plastic magnet so that can be scratched easily,so check the bearing for scratch.if you don’t understand you can call me on what’s up 00447447825682
what is going on @ 3:17 ? I thought the new hub with bearing is a straight install.
Same question.
Same. Everything was straight forward until that moment..
confused me too

I have a 2010 w207 and when I pulled mine I did not see a sealing ring on factory. Do you know if this is added later on?

After watching the video my only question is why does the Mercedes dealer and two local mechanics want over $1850 USA to do the work?????
Exactly same..!
I paid $450 to get this done last month. FML.
You guys are crazy
Because of the badge on the hood & nothing else.
Halt die klappe! And pay the man with the little mustache

Not installed your bearings correctly. Prone to premature failure. Take it back.. And get done properly.

hahaahhaha he put the bearing in backwards, the magnetic side he put facing wrong direction, or wrong bearing,
Air in the abs system which is affecting the brakes and the abs sensors needs to be changed

Very professional
this is nothing close to the 2010 C300 4matic front wheel bearing,
That's because this is the RWD model lol
