Sure thing. But check with your doctor before using this product. Some side effects include: social estrangement, upset stomach, cold sweat, hearing loss in one or both ears, general anxiety, feeling of impending doom, headache, dry mouth, irritability and in some rare cases a fleeting feeling of enjoyment userfriendly1.bandcamp.com/
You are my favorite synthesist on RUclips. You are always funny as fuck, talented, kind in your comments, and you make music I listen to regularly. Would shit a brick of comb filtered bass to see you play on a system. Much love, keep making cool shit. ❤
The wub is dead, yes. But there is a lot that can be learned from it even in its death. If nothing else, an aggressive carelessness and creative overuse of certain things such as compression
Hello Mr. Friendly, I know this isn't the newest video, but I'm watching a ton of stuff to try and make a decision. I'm between the Analog Four mk1 and the Syntakt for primarily sounds like this (big tearout basses, wubs, other generally outdated stuff lol), but I also could use extra drums. Which machine would you recommend between the two? Or a third option? My gut says the Analog Four is better for chunky screeches, but I'm not totally sure. EDIT TO ADD: also, is there any super compelling reason that I couldn't do what you do in this video on the Mk1, more or less?
I’ve not had the chance to play with a mk1, so I can’t be sure, but as far as I know they are largely the same! Actually, I wouldn’t recommend a4 or syntakt for big bass. I’d argue that for that sort of sound nothing can come close to digitone. You can do it on syntakt and a4, but it’s no where near as varied as the digitone can be! Digitone is an absolutely vicious monster in sheep’s wool. I had one on loan for a while and can’t wait to get one of my own!
that looks so inefficiant, I think I'm gonna stay digital, but cool to see it's possible, the only thing that's missing is ducking the basses volume to 0 every time the kick and snare hit, dubstep just ain't the same without over the top pumping sidechain.
INCREDIBLY inefficient, and for a just okay wub bass. That’s a good call. I agree. I would be possible to achieve that, but it’d be pretty time consuming and cumbersome. Unless you used an LFO synced four to the floor, but I think side chain is the coolest when it’s not just four to the floor, but also pumps when the kick goes off grid ect ect.
Can you please drop the affiliate link for the sponsor? I need whatever they are selling.

This is exactly the kind of outdated content I was looking for. Long live wubs.

Best sponsor ever
I went out and patronized your sponsor immediately. Hope you get your cut.
Those jerks never pay up. Idk why I even do it at this point.
That word from the sponsor sent my sides into orbit. I am still laughing while I type. I also feel the need to consume a product
Then my advertisement sponsor think was a success! Hazzah!
I love Your synthetic voice! BRAP ON!

Thank you so very much for your kind words. I could not be happier to hear that you are enjoying my shenanigans! I'll do my best to keep it coming!
This was a short master class… I don’t have an analog four but I can easily apply this to other kit. Of course, we all know the wub is dead, but…

I see the sample pack, any plans for more Analog four presets for A4 owners??
This has project and sound files :)
