Just wanna thank you for how helpful this video was. I actually got the opportunity to help model for a smaller game with this, can't believe how the smallest details make the biggest changes. Would definitely recommend to any aspiring developers!
fun fact i worked from 7:30 - 12:50 yesterday and i got nothing done so today when i woke up i went strait to youtube and found a dog video and i got sidetracked for 20 minutes
I wanted to say i am new to modeling, i am neither too bad at modeling nor too good just wanted to say that how can I attract people to use my models like my models don't get many people, and roblox doesn't have new to marketplace genre which would help newbies to get around...
this is a great video, i learned a lot about how to implemnt things from the toolbox to add pittle details. But the thing is, my toolbox is broken and I cant fix it
Special meshes? idk what those are. I wonder if I could just use blender for finer details instead? Also all of these had a lot of lighting work. There was no mention of that. Maybe a different video?
its called interior, and thats all based on how well you structure your house. If you just have really good models but a bad strcuture you wont have a good looking interior, and if you have really good structure but bad models it also wont be good. Just make sure that both the structure and models look good and fit together, make the theme smooth and conscise, and thats pretty much it ig
ok so idk what to do because nobody will help me. i just finished building a detailed house in roblox studio, and now for some reason most of the house is invisible, its still there but you cant see it. i did not use any models from blender and i also checked the transparency and they are all 0. this build took 2 whole days please can someone help please.
Do you have the studio grid enabled or did you use a lot of unions? There was a bug recently where enabling the grid made parts go invisible. I've also seen unions go invisible occasionally.
If the unions are invisible then you might try un-unioning and then re-unioning them otherwise you may have to remake them or revert place versions. You might be able to publish what you have as a new place to save your current progress and then go back through versions to retrieve the unions if they're good in prior versions. There are a bunch of mesh packs in the toolbox in studio. If you use any I would recommend double-checking for malicious scripts inside the meshes and remove any if you find them.
